Chapter 49 - Prison

- 2 hours later -

We're now landing outside of the Avengers facility. My mom is still unconscious.

I get up from the ground and go in front of the quinjet door.

The door starts to open and I start to see guards with their guns pointed at me.

"Put your hands up, now!" One of the guards shouts at me.

I put my hands up.

"Hey, what the hell is happening?" Clint shouts.

"You can't do that!" My dad shouts to the guards while they start pushing me out of the quinjet.

I walk with guards all around me to the facility.

Tony is right behind the guards.

Once we enter the facility, I hear Tony say "Take her to the medical wing. She needs medical assistance."

"I'm fine." I say.

"No, you're not." Tony says.

I roll my eyes.

"Take her there." Tony says to the guards and they nod.

They take me to the medical wing.

- 30 minutes later -

The doctor just finished patching me up.

My mom is in the room next to mine.

Tony enters the room and says "Your mom is awake."

"Can I see her?" I ask.

"The helicopter to take you to the raft prison arrives in 10 minutes. Be fast." He says.

I nod and go to my mom's room.

I knock on the door and then enter and go to my mom's side.

"Hey." I say and give a little smile.

"Hey sweetie." She says.

"How do you feel?" I ask.

"Good." She says and smiles.

"Where's dad?" I ask.

"He went to our room to shower and stuff." She says.

I take her hand into mine and ask "What happened in there, mom?"

"I've been running away from them for a long time. They caught me a month ago." She says.

I nod.

Then, my dad enters in the room.

"Hey." I say.

"Hey." He says.

"Daisy, Tony told us what you're doing to protect us. It's insane." She says.

"For four years, I've been doing bad things. I just wanna do something right." I say.

"Don't do this, please." My dad says.

"You deserve living your life. And this is what I deserve. I'm gonna do it." I say.

Tony enters the room and says "It's time to leave."

I hug my mom and say "Take care."

We separate from each other and she nods.

I hug my dad and say "You deserve to life your life."

And then we separate from each other.

"Give James what you couldn't give to me." I say.

"We love you. And we're gonna visit you every week." My parents say at the same time.

"I love you too." I say and smile.

The guards enter the room and grab my arms.

"Tony, please don't let her do this." My dad says.

"It's her choice and the government needs someone to blame. I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do." Tony says.

Then, the guards start walking me to the helicopter.

We enter it. Tony enters right behind me.

- 2 hours later -

We land outside of the raft prison.

Then, we get out of the helicopter and walk to a big room.

They give me some blue prison clothes and leave the room.
I take my uniform off and put the blue clothes on.

I put my uniform in the table in front of me.

I grab my gauntlets and look at them.

"Guess I'm not gonna use these for a long time." I say and put them in the table.

I walk out of the room.

I see the guards waiting for me.

They walk me to my cell.

I enter it and then they close it and go away.
