Chapter 29 - He understands me

- 1 hour later -

After getting out of the base, I'm in the place that Ward said to be. A little mountain where we can see the city.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Ward asks, looking at the city.

"Very beautiful." I say.

"Can I ask you something?" I ask him.

"Sure." He says.

"Why me? And if you're not Ward, what should I call you?" I ask him.

"Ward always trusted you. He liked you, actually. And I know you're really powerful. And you can call me Hive." He says.

I nod.

"So, what now?" I ask.

"Now, I need you to do something." He says.

"What?" I ask.

"Before Ward died, he was trying to finish HYDRA's first mission. He wanted to do the one thing HYDRA couldn't do for 70 years. Have the super-soldier serum on his hands. And that would make Red Skull proud of him. He inspired me to do something. Use the serum and inhuman DNA to make an army. So, I'm asking you to kidnap the only person with the serum... Your father." He says.

I look at him.

"But he's my dad..." I say.

"Look, with all that's happening, SHIELD is gonna send their best agents, your dad and the rest of the Avengers to come looking for you. You have to take your dad before he knows what's happening." He says.

"You're right." I say.

"Meet me at this address when you have him." He says and gives me a piece of paper with an address.

I nod and start getting to work.

- Time skip to 11pm -

Right now, I'm at the front of the Avengers facility. I hacked into the system of the facility and I've been checking the security cameras. There's only 3 people in the facility: My mom, my dad and Tony.

My mom is in her bedroom, Tony is in his lab and my dad is in his office.

The plan here is kill the electricity, put my dad unconscious and take him to the van that I am right now and drive away. But theres a little problem: I have to do all this in 1 minute because that's the time Tony is gonna take to put the electricity on again.

Okay, let's do this.

I go to my computer and kill the electricity. Then I open the door of the van and run to the front door of the facility. I open it and go silently to my dad's office. When I'm almost there, I spot my mom going to my dad's office too.

Well, shit.

I look at the clock on my wrist and see that I have only 40 seconds.

My mom enters the office and I enter right behind her. 

Suddently, the lights turn on. My parents look at me, suprised. I lift my hand and use my powers to push my dad against the wall. Then he falls to the ground unconscious.

My mom, who's on my right side, looks at me in shock.

Before I can say anything, Tony shows up in front of me in his Iron-Man suit with his arm raised, ready to shoot me.

I put my hand up in the direction of my mom and choke her with my powers.

"Put your hand down or I snap her neck." I warn Tony.

"Daisy this isn't you..." He says.

"This is me! This is who I am. I finally found my place in the world. He understands me. Hive understands me. Tony, you don't have to pity me anymore. I really don't want to hurt anyone but you're giving me no choice Tony." I say and choke my mom harder.

"DAISY STOP!" He shouts at me.

"Then put your hand down and no one get's hurt!" I say to him.

He puts his hand down.

I put my other hand up and use my powers to push Tony agaisnt the windows. The windows break and he falls to the ground outside.

This is my chance.

I release my mom and she falls to the ground, unconscious.

I grab my dad, who is still unconscious, and take him to the van. Then I drive away.

- 1 hour later -

The address that Hive gave me is an warehouse in a desert village.

Right now, I'm looking at my father who's strapped with chains on a chair. He's waking up.

"Hey, he's waking up." I say to Hive, who's behind me, in a chair reading a book. He stands up and comes to my side.

My dad looks at us and asks "Why are you doing this Daisy?"

I just look at him.

"Daisy please answer me..." My dad says.

"Let's prepare him for the procedure." Hive says to the scientists he hired.

I go to my room because I don't feel like watching people taking almost all my dad's blood.

- Time skip to 4 am -

I couldn't sleep, so I decided to go check on my dad.

When I enter in the lab, I see 2 containers, that had blood inside them, are now broken on the floor and the chair where my father was, is now empty and the chains are broken and all the scientists are now laying on the floor, unconscious.

I hear footsteps behind me.

"He escaped." Hive says.

"And broke the containers so nobody could use his blood." I say.

"How could this happen! Now my plan can't work! This is not gonna stay like this! I want revenge!" He shouts.

"Let me do it." I say.

"What are you gonna do?" He asks.

"Let's just say I'm gonna take my powers to the next level..." I say and smirk.
