Angels

   There isn't simply one type of angel; in fact there are five types of angels. The highest up are the archangels, who you've already read about, unless you're skipping chapters. The ranks from there go in the order or seraphim, rit zien, cherubim, and the last are a unit called the grigori, though most of them are extinct. 

   The seraphim can smite demons, humans, and lower rank angels with minimal effort; whereas a normal rank angel would need to focus to do such things. I told you before of an angel named Castiel, I brought him back as a seraphim and he is the now the only of his kind. He has since rebelled, but it was for good meaning, and for that I cannot blame him.

   After the seraphim, there is the rit zien; the rit zien are angels made for healing others during wars. Like humans have medics for their wars, we have the rit zien as our medics; they could fight if needed, but it is not meant to be like that for angel soldiers need healing just as human soldiers do .

   The cherubim are better known as cupids. They are meant to be kind and not harm anyone; they're the lowest form of angels. The cherubim are meant to pair important bloodlines together. Though the cherubim as usually happy, they can easily be saddened, but often aren't angered, as it would take a great deal of force to anger one of them.

   Lastly there is the grigori, who aren't so much a type of angel as a elite force that was put together. The grigori were to be stationed on Earth to protect humans and in the beginning they worked like a well oiled machine. For years the grigori were powerful angels who had a job that others wanted. There would still be an exceptional number of them around today if they hadn't fell from their posts and began feeding on humans.
