Laura's pov
Wow! That talk with riker made me feel ALOT better. I mean ..... Yeah I'm still upset and sad about my parents but now I have a new family that cares... Well at least I think they do. I know that Riker cares but the others I'm not sure if they care like he does. I still wonder why Ross kissed my cheek. like Really?OOh well I'll worry about that later.
Rike and I walked back into the room and everyone turned around and looked at us. I gave them a confused look.
"Did I miss something?" I question.
"Well..... You missed Rocky lick the bottom of Ross's shoes." replied my sister.
"Eewww!! That is soo gross Rock!" I say giving Rocky a new nickname.
"OOOHHH so you is calling me Rock now huh? "
"Ummm.... yeah I guess so . I mean I give Everybody that I'm close to nicknames."
"Oh okay.... I like it."
Ross's pov
Man I can't get over how beautiful Laura is. Her Big brown eyes, and that smile.... man that smile gets me . I wish I had the nerve to ask her out but she will probably say No anyways. I'm getting kind of bored with truth ot dare so I offer something else to do.
"Is it just me or is this game getting boring?" I ask
I get a couple of "Yeah"s and a "for sure'
"I was thinking that we should go to the livingroom and watch a movie." I advise
Everyone nods their head and we walk to the living room. I was the last one out of the room and I noticed something that shocked me a little bit.......
I saw Riker and Laura talking and Laura was giggling. I wonder what all that is about.
"What movie are we gonna watch?" Laura asked as the came out of the kitchen with Riker caring 4 bowls of popcorn and a few drinks.
"ooohh lets watch a scary movie!" I say
" A-a-a-a - a scary movie?" Laura said kind of hesitantly " I-I-I don't like scary movies."
Laura Don't like scary movies? Okay then...... Then Riker said something that made me kindoff mad .
" Don't worry Laur.. I'll protect ya!" Riker said in a flirtatious tone of voice.
Laur???? did he just call her Laur??
"AWWW ! thanks Rike!" Laura replied in the same tone.
Rike?? Did she just call him Rike???
Did I Miss something? Like are they dating? or Just being flirty? I don't know but I'll find out later.
We all sat on the couch and th order was. (Rydel, Vanessa, Me, Rocky, Lauraa, then Riker.
Riker and Laura were sitting a little too close to me. Rydel and Vaness came out of the living room closet with Pillows and blankest. Rydel and Vanessa shared one, Rocky and I had our own and Riker and Laura were sharing one. I got up and put The Conjuring in and sat back down
Whenever a scary part of the movie would come on, Vanessa and Rydel would shreak and When I looked over at Laura and Riker I saw that Laura would burry her head in Riker's chest and they woulden't move. Riker Kept his arm around Laura and she would Snuggle into his chest.
Laura's pov
I felt safe with Riker. When a scary part of the movie would come on, I burried my head in Riker's chest and he would put his arm around me and squeez me a little bit to assure me that nothing was going to happen. I loved this and I didn't want it to end. I just cuddled with Riker and it seamed like he enjoyed it too. Am I maybe developing feelings for A certian Lynch? NO I can't ..... can I ... All I know it that we are really close and I don't want to ruin that. I just wanna stay in this moment FOREVER!!!!!
