Jackson and I drove out to the North Side because today was the day that Jackson was going to make first start since his concussion. He has been with the team the last week but hadn't been cleared yet to play. Yesterday, he played the last inning, but didn't have to hit. I knew that he was nervous for this point, but I have all the faith in the world that he'll do amazing.
We didn't talk the whole way there, but we kissed once we got there. Jackson went inside to get ready for the game, while I walked around meeting with multiple of my new found friends that happens to be Cub's wives/fiancée/girlfriends.
