14 1 1

I stood right next to the window staring down on the field. Before I knew it, Zoey's voice rose, "I have a dare for someone, anyone with the last name of Myls that is."

"What is it, Zoey?" I asked giving her the evil eye. She knows that I hate to have dares, but she loves to give me them anyway. I'm the only one that gets them as well.

"Heckle," that was all she said, and I knew what she wanted me to do. "You got the best seat in the ballpark to do it, so why not."

I kept on staring at her, thinking, before I finally said, "And what is the forfeit?"

"You have to kiss my husband on the lips in front of Jackson, but no one can tell them what is going on." Zoey can be so mean sometimes, but what are you going to do when she is the wife of your husband's best friend. She is a character though, even though sometimes you can't stand her.

I rolled my eyes, "Fine, I'll do it. If Jackson leaves me; it's up to you to explain the madness to him."

"I doubt that you will do it that good, but I will."

I grabbed my phone and quickly sent Jackson saying, 'Sorry'. I placed my phone back into my pocket. I looked at Zoey and she was talking to the two T.V. announcers that just dropped by.

Before I knew it I was in the stands sitting next to Zoey, screaming at Jackson. It was the top of the first, one out and my Jackson just got hammered a ball from a righty. He didn't react in time and it hit him right in the left shoulder. That didn't stop Jackson though since he quickly grabbed the ball with his right, bare hand and fired it at first. The runner was safe, just barely though.

I stood up in my seat and yelled as loud as I could, "You should have let it hit you in the face since you probably would have a better chance of getting him out!"

I think that Jackson heard me and looked right at where I was sitting, right behind the Cubs dugout. He didn't say or do anything; he ignored me. Zoey was laughing at this since I think that she noticed that as well.

The next batter hit a high ball to Jackson's spot, but the third baseman called him off. That gave me another opening to give Jackson some crap.

"Good thinking, Jackson can't catch anything! Myls should just go home since we don't need him!"

Jackson jogged in looking at me. I knew that he was wondering why I was doing this, but he had a baseball game to focus. I knew that he would try to zone me out, but I'm his wife and the soon to be mother of his children, so I don't think that he will be able to.

When Chase was up to bat, and Jackson was on deck, I yelled as loud as I could, "I'll divorce Jackson Myls if you get a home run!" Jackson didn't look up to me, but I knew that he heard me. The next pitch Chase drilled the ball, but it was short, giving him a double. I felt so happy that, that happened since I never want to break up with that man.

When Jackson came up to bat, the first pitch he hammered it out into the right side bleachers. I wanted to stand up and cheer, but I knew that I couldn't. After Jackson touched home, he looked up to me and stuck his tongue out. I laughed at how childish my husband was. I stood up at that point, consumed with laughter. I booed him his whole trip from home to the home dugout.

This behavior continued all the way through the twelve inning game. The Cubs did win, thanks to someone hitting Chase home. Jackson didn't stop looking my way laughing, but he only did it in those many moments when the pitcher and catcher goes back and forth, between innings, when he going up to bat, when he heads back to the dugout, when the pitching coach or manager comes to visit, or whenever he felt like it was perfect time to get a quick glance. But no matter when he looked at me he would always flash a smile that had a fifty percent chance of appearing.

The fans around me didn't find this hilarious, but most of them didn't know that I'm Mrs. Jackson Myls instead of being a random fan that's here to heckle them. I actually got yelled at by some of them. I didn't say anything to them, but Zoey did. "Okay, listen here. This woman isn't just some random chick. Her husband is your one and only Jackson Myls the Fifth. Don't believe me, look at my phone, and yes I know, it's their wedding photo. And me, you might ask, am I just some stupid friend that is sticking up for her? Yeah, I am, but I'm also the pregnant wife of Chase Reagan. Now close your pipe holes so me and my pregnant friend can enjoy the game while she's heckling her lovely husband!" I did laugh at that one before and after I said sorry to the guys that made a big deal about this situation.

Once I got onto the field after the game, Jackson picked me up and spun me around and around and around. He kissed my lips laughing. "I can't believe... why?" he stammered out of his mouth.

"Zoey! I'm so sorry, but you seemed to find it funny, at least where I was at," I said that last part more to myself, but I knew that he heard me.

"Don't be sorry, it was actually funny. The guys were giving me crap for it, but that was really good. You know that you need to stop being so willing with peer-pressure."

I gave him a little puppy-dog look, "But you know how intimidating the Reagans are! They should change their last name to Bully." Jackson gave me a look that clearly said that he didn't find my little joke funny at all, but I truthfully did not care what he thought.

"Anyway, thanks for the apology text before the game. I thought it would be for something way worse than that."

"What me threatening to divorce you wasn't that bad? Oh, so you wouldn't mind that I would disappear one day and never come back." I gave him the death stare trying to show my disapproval on what he just said to me.

"That part hurt my little heart. I never want you, Stephane Rose Myls, to ever leave my arms, to ever leave my heart. Cause, when that do happen the world would have officially gone to hell."

"Oh, I do mean something to the great panda of Jackson Myls." After I said that, he picked up and kissed me on the lips once more.

Our lips were connected for surprisingly a very long time. I mean, I'm not complaining one bit, but it was a very long, amazing time. That is until, the Reagans came over to interrupted us by Zoey who said, "Aww! Chase, why don't you ever kiss me like that?"

Chase laughed at that one, "Well, honey, maybe because I don't want to look like I'm trying to eat you."

"But, it looks like he adores her," Zoey whined.

"Umm, guys," Jackson complained. "We are trying to have a moment right here."

"And we are not your movie that you can judge how we look when we are kissing each other," I interjected. After that the conversation was dropped, and the four of us first time expecting parents left, as soon as the guys got done, heading out to our diner date.
