Chapter 7: Before The Spotlight
Hannah silently left their house and went to Gaerim Arts School. The school has low security so she sneaked in and spent the rest of the night there. It was cold but Hannah endured it as her big battle is more dangerous than sleeping in the school.
That morning, Lawrence went to the school early and he was surprised to see Hannah lying on the floor. He immediately wakes her up. But after few moments, Hannah’s mother went to school angry. She was forcing Hannah to go home.
“Mama, I want to study on this school,” Hannah exclaimed.
Her mother stopped holding her arm and said, “You want to study on this school and study nonsense things?”
“Ma, music is not a nonsense thing. You will not learn anything here. You will waste your future, your time and money here,” her mother said.
“But if you will do insist, don’t ever go home,” her mother said and left.
Lawrence followed Hannah’s mother that her daughter would be in good hands. It’s just that her daughter only needs trust from her.
Her mother just left silently and went home. Afterwards, Suzy came to the school early also.
When she entered the room, she was immediately asked by her father to bring Hannah home.
“Hya! I’m not a nanny. And why should I bring her home?” Suzy questioned with an arrogant voice.
“She would be staying with us for a while,” he said.
“Fine. Then bring her home. I’m sure that you decided for that so you should be the one to bring her home,” Suzy replied.
Lawrence brought Hannah to their house to take a nap after sleeping in the cold floor of the school. After few minutes, the other students came to school.
Mikaela and Michael were the first one to arrive after Suzy. Michael asked Suzy to listen to his guitar and comment about it. Suzy did not give an answer but Michael started to strike his guitar.
Without any doubt, Michael’s guitar skill is very tremendous. The sound is very pleasant to the ear with hearing a lot of guitar strings every second. When Michael stopped playing, he asked Suzy about it. He then found out that Suzy put on her earphones while he was playing the guitar. Michael, instead of losing his patience or being turned off, smirked.
“Michael, why do you need to show off your talents with someone like her who doesn’t know much about real music?” Mikaela entered the cold conversation of the two.
Suzy stared to Mikaela and left them. Mikaela then asked him why he needed to ask other’s opinion since she is already there.
“Mikaela, I know that your answer would be good. Also, I want to know others’ feelings about my skills. Each people have a different taste and we cannot please all of them at the same time,” he replied wittily.
Mikaela then kept her mouth shut. Blizzard was already in the campus and was carefully watching Suzy. He almost looked like a stalker with his innocent eyes following Suzy.
“Boo!” an astonishment from Blizzard’s back surprised him. He looked at it and it was Mira who commented about his stalking.
“Why are you stalking her?” Mira teased Blizzard.
“Hey. I’m not stalking at her. I’m just too shy to enter the room,” Blizzard reasoned out.
Mira pushed him inside the room and as she enters the room, she commented.
