Chapter 5: Upfront Betrayals

It’s Monday – the day where Gaerim is in the middle of everything. Suzy woke up and saw the birth certificate on the table. She tried to find her father in the house but he has already left. She stared on her birth certificate and tried to decide if she will give it a try.

On the other hand, Alex and Lawrence were having a big problem on the school. They had just found out that New Star Academy pirated their competitors

“I really felt sad for that news, guys. So how many of your students were pirated. You only had eight students but it seems that number would still be diminished,” the director expressed while hiding a smile.

When the director left, Alex raised her suspicion that it was all done by the backstabbing director.

“It’s obvious that he wanted us to fail. I just don’t know how many of them were pirated. I’m just afraid that even Lewis Celadon would also leave,” Alex added.

Lawrence left the room to attend his class for the higher batch. After few minutes, Blizzard came to the room where the new students shall be assigned.

“Oh! You have arrived,” Alex smiled.

“Ms. Teacher, I would just like to inform you that somebody called me yesterday,” Blizzard said.

“I already know about that and for now, we just need to at least know how many of you remained. No matter what happens, we will continue this,” Alex replied, “By the way, I thought your parent would at least come to ask few things,” she added.

“Actually, I am living on my own. My mother is in Old Tale Town and I had informed them that I passed the audition. Hence, I need to stay here,” Blizzard said.

After few minutes, Mira entered the room together with her mother. Alex talked with Mira’s mother.

Her mother expressed her worries about the school and Mira. She was not convinced that the school can do something for her daughter’s ambition of becoming a star.

The students were yelling outside the room. It was Lewis Celadon who created the commotion. Mira’s mother was also a fan of him so her eyes actually went big and excitement covered her mind.

“Oh, I’m sorry Ma’am if I doubt your school’s capability. I never thought that the super rookie Lewis Celadon is with you,” Milagros said.

Lewis entered the room and sat somewhere in the middle. Mira is obviously excited with him. Following Lewis are two special students – the duo Alex and Lawrence saw yesterday.

Alexandria asked the two to wait until the clock strikes at 8:00 AM, the scheduled time to start the classes. It’s five minutes before the time and yet, no one is coming.

She is worried that the other students excluding Suzy have already been pirated by the New Star Academy.

The students in the room are thinking about different things. Lewis, obviously, was only playing in the school while Mira was too shy to compare herself to her classmates. Blizzard, on the other hand, is too quiet to be estimated. The duo was also too quiet but they have an intense aura ready for any competition.

The bell rang which indicated that the classes would be starting. Disappointment lingered on Alex’s face. Soon, she introduced herself.

“Good morning to every one of you. I am Alexandria Foster, the granddaughter of Achilles Foster, the founder of Gaerim Arts School. All of you passed the screening, either regular or special, and has willingly sent themselves here. You shall be the next big stars, whether as a singer, dancer or actor,” Alex remarked.
