When I enter the room again, Kurt is already asleep. I watch the small, happy smile on his face. It is true, he really is the cutest boy I've ever met. I get to the bathroom and change my clothes for my best Pyjamas. I lay down next to him and pull him towards me a little. It really was a good idea to beg for a bigger bed. Luckily, X-Men Mansion (as I still like to call it) got rooms with large beds en masse, and my reason (I told them I move quite much while sleeping) seemed reasonable enough. As I watch Kurt's face, his eyes twitch, he's probably dreaming something. I softly whisper into his cute, pointy ear.
"Sleep tight, lil' Crawler, I'm here for you..."
He opens his eyes for a split second, but closes them immediately. Well, he really must be tired. When I think of him telling me that I was the important thing, I feel even warmer than usual. I slowly close my eyes as well and wait for sleep to come.
"Peter?"
Well, someone didn't sleep as soundly as I thought.
"Yap?"
"I was thinking..."
"You were thinking? Well, I know, that is your part, I'm the one who doesn't think."
He smiles whimsically.
"I thought about us two."
My heart beat raises a little.
"In a cute or in a rational way? Well, you're the cutest when you are rational, so I don't even care."
He chuckles.
"It's more of a rational thought."
He stops and thinks for a little.
"Well, it is emotional, still."
I pull him a bit closer.
"Just tell me what it is, you little blue mystery-monger."
He gets big eyes and chuckles another time.
"Only if you tell me why you use such a word! I'm still learning english, but even I know that this word is strange."
I smirk broadly.
"I like strange things. Especially when they are blue."
Now he giggles like a little girl.
"Stop already..."
He kisses me right on the lips. I look at him in surprise.
"Somebody got really courageous."
He looks directly into my eyes.
"Be near to death just once and even a religious boy like me becomes naughty."
He starts to nibble on my ear.
