"You want what?"
I look at Kurt in astonishment.
"I want to know if you with your time-slow ability or me with my teleportation ability..."
I interrupt him:
"Okay, okay, okay. I think I get it. But first of all: How do want to test this?"
"I thought you could slow time and run forward in the same second that I start teleporting."
To underline what he said he teleports right behind me with a soft bang. Then he jumps on my back and holds onto my neck. I cough.
"Don't strangle me!"
I take his legs and the pressure on my throat loosens.
"Thank you. But... Over what distance should we do this stuff and how are we supposed to count microseconds and...?"
He pushes his hips onto my back.
"I don't care. I bet I'm faster."
I laugh and squeeze his left leg gently.
"I bet I'M faster!"
Then I slow time and throw him onto the bed. I make sure to lay down on his chest and directly stare into his eyes before I turn time normal again.
"Boo."
He still looks surprised for half a second and this expression on his face is really, really cute. Then he starts a really girlish giggle. I look at him, smirking.
"You sure you hadn't got too much at Phoenix's Welcome-Back-Party?"
He focuses back on my eyes with a ridiculous looking head gesture.
"Of courrrrrse, I had way too much. But not too much for this."
Then he starts pulling up my t-shirt. I smile.
"Yeah, but with this I'm definitely faster."
Within a second his shirt hangs over the ceiling lamp and the room is lighted in a moody twilight.
