Sitting in darkness silence screaming

Reminding me, filling my head with visions of an angry youth

Eighteen clean shaven and a blond mohawk

Scars on his wrists and pills in his mouth

Thievery and violence arrested for larceny

Angry because of a difficult childhood

Him against the world and the world had it coming

Trying to die and not caring who he takes with him

Time to think in a courtroom

Deciding he doesn't want to suffer anymore

Changing his appearance following the eightfold path

Becoming a new person

Twenty years old still an ignorant child

Scars faded beard grown out and hair growing for charity

Covering himself in tattoos he chooses to commit to a better world

He's only sure it was all for the best and he is on a better path
