Our government now hangs us from a new tree
With three branches
The executive, legislative, and judicial
And we as Americans must protect ourselves
We're so quick to pick up a gun and kill each other
But we refuse to use those guns to protect ourselves
It's our job to stop the police when they break the law
But for some reason, we divide ourselves
Which is exactly what the government wants
I'm not a democrat or a republican
I'm not black or white
I'm not a man or a woman
I'm a human
All those labels are just words
They mean nothing
We are being lied to
And divided
Yes by Fox News
But also by CNN
And yes Donald Trump is corrupt and racist
But so is Hillary Clinton
The cow doesn't care which slaughterhouse it's killed at
So why care which politicians kill us?
Pick the lesser of two evils and the devil still wins
We need to rebel
Yes with protests
And even if you riot I can't blame you
A riot is the language of the unheard
Riots do not form out of thin air
We need to condemn what causes these riots
Just as much as we condemn the riots themselves
But we need to be careful
We can make a better life without violence
We need to beat the corrupt at their own game
We need to boycott their business
And elect officials who actually care for us
I want us to fight for our freedoms
If we don't we'll be destroyed
