The berserkers Aslog the mad and Eluf Beastheart met in a foreign land
Aslog was raiding with her Ashborn clan
Eluf with his Bonewearers
Each had come with ten other northmen soldiers
The two raiding parties joined shortly after their landings on the coast
But before the parties could reach a town to raid they had to cross a bridge
And on that bridge stood forty enemy soldiers defending their land
The northmen formed a shield wall on their edge of the bridge
Aslog and Eluf stood behind the shield wall, their axes in hand
The forty enemy soldiers rushed the northmen
And the northmen readied themselves
And as the wave of forty men came crashing down
The northmen broke ranks dodging to their sides
So the soldiers swinging their swords and jumping expecting to land a shield
Instead landed on the axes of Aslog and Eluf
While the berserkers were berserking tearing the men apart
The other twenty northmen created a hallway with their shields trapping the enemy soldiers in
Unable to swing their sword the enemies retreated
And Aslog looked upon Eluf's blood covered face she knew what she wanted
So began the story of the two loving berserkers of the Ashborn and Bonewearer clans
The legendary pair who the northmen still sing songs of in their halls
Even now twenty years after the northmen's defeat in the savage wars and the deaths of Aslog the mad and Eluf Beastheart
Their song are still sung
But the northmen also whisper
They whisper rumors of a son
A son named Adaar Aslog-Elufson
