Chapter 6

"Class, tapos na ba kayo mag-register?" tanong ng advicer namin.

"Yes ma'am!" sabay-sabay naming sinagot ang tanong.

"Well, next week, we will have our very first club meetings. Be sure to attend."

"Yes ma'am." sabi namin. One week pa ang club meetings? Ang tagal naman noon. Ano ba kaya ang puwede kong gawin in one week's time?

"Excuse me, can I speak to Adrian De Guzman?" pakiusap ng principal sa advicer namin

"Okay sir. Adrian, tinatawag ka ng principal." sabi ni ma'am. Tumayo ako at lumabas sa classroom.

"Bakit po sir?" tanong ko sa principal, tila nagtataka kung bakit ako tinawag.

"I came here to say thank you for doing your job successfully. No clubs were left unfinished. They were all ready because of you. All of the club officials want to thank you too, especially the Glee Club officials because of what you did yesterday." sabi niya.

"You're welcome sir. Wait, paano niyo po nalaman ang tungkol sa Glee Club kahapon?" tanong ko.

Tumawa siya at sinabing, "I was there yesterday, the whole time, and I was testing you if you can do what I told you, and you did it perfectly. You even helped the Glee Club in finishing the stands and the booths. That was very nice of you." ani niya.

May kinuha si sir sa pocket niya. Isang papel, no, isang letter or note ang kinuha niya at binigay niya sa akin. Nagtaka ako kung ano ito.

"I almost forgot about about that. A special girl wants me to send this letter to you. Anyway, I'll be going now, I have more things to do." ani niya.

"Okay, sir. Goodbye." sabi ko. Naglakad na paalis ang principal. Hmm... Ano ito? Anong "special girl" ang pinagsasabi ni sir? Kay Martha ba ito?

"Tiningnan ko ang harap ng liham. "From: Blair Anderson." Mula sa kanya? Binuksan ko ang letter.

Hello, Adrian. This is Blair, the girl you helped yesterday. I was thinking if you want to come join me at lunch later. I still have to thank you for helping me that day. If you want to come, I'm right by the canteen's entrance. Okay, bye.

Wow! May nalalaman pa siyang "letter" ah. Ang pormal naman. Saka paano napagawa ni Blair si principal na ibigay ito sa akin? Hmmm... Hayaan mo na, okay lang naman sa akin ang makipag-lunch sa kanya. No harm, no worries.

Lunch na, nasa entrance na ako ng canteen pero wala pa rin siya. Bakit kaya?

"Hmm... Baka nasa loob na si--"

"BOOWAAAHH!!!" sigaw ni Blair, "Hello Adrian, musta?"

"Hi Blair! Musta ba kamo? Ito, gulat." Kahit hindi naman.

"Hahahah! Sabi ko nga ba magugulat ka eh!" Hindi kaya...

"Ikaw, kamusta?" tanong ko.

"Okay lang." sagot niya. Pagkatapos ng mga greetings, umupo na kami sa isang table, malapit kay Joseph (pinag-lunch ko muna siya mag-isa kasi nga kakausapin ko si Blair.)

We talked a lot about each other, like how I got in this school, our likes and dislikes, our problems and more.

After that, Blair and I became great friends. She is a happy, cute girl with a sense of humor. She's 5'4 feet tall, she has a beautiful voice, and she is very smart. Maputi siya, chubby, pero magandang maganda ang mga mata niya. Very kissable ang lips niya, lovable, extravagant, special, and a pretty girl. But when I look into her eyes, she reminds me of Martha.
