Sorry if the chapters have become confusing to begin with, but the story-line wasn't making sense before. Hopefully it does now.

April's POV:
(Y/N) is such an interesting person, but I can't imagine what she's been through. Losing her mother and her twin sister before getting to know them, losing her birth home, her father giving her to someone else (even if it was to keep her safe), finding out she was adopted after almost 16 years and having this strange family to walk back into. I am amazed that she hasn't gone crazy with everything that has happened to her. I have also found out some other things about her: (F/C) is her favourite colour, what activities she likes doing (e.g.(F/A), etc). {Favourite activity} and so much more. I told her a few things about me, and surprisingly she found them interesting. I don't know what she found interesting, but then again I am friends with mutants living in the sewers and my father and I were kidnapped by aliens once or twice. I guess those are pretty interesting. We have been shopping, to the cinemas, and gone for something to eat. God knows what time it is I think to myself.
"So," she starts saying - confusing me.
"So...what?" I ask.
"Can I ask you a question?" She says.
"You just did," I tells her, and she glares at me (jokingly of course), "but yes you can ask me another."
"There is A, C and D. A is quite smart, gets A's in almost all their subjects. D is extremely smart, very inventive and very kind. And C is not as smart as A, gets D's and C's in subjects and it quite rude. Then should A be with C or D?" She asks, why would she ask this? Oh well, she's not gonna let me off if I don't answer, so I say what I think.
"I think A would be more suitable with D than C, however C deserves a chance. Why do you want to know?"
"Oh no reason," she replies smiling and walking ahead of me. I quickly catch up to her and follow her.
I am confused the entire journey but I snap out of my thought when I realise where we are. We are at a science lab that my father once took me too. I knew we were going to a lab but I didn't think it would be this one. I heard they abandoned it a while ago, and it looks like those are true; it looks like no one has been here in a long time.
Once inside we start searching for equipment Donnie could use. (Y/N) is a good sister if she is willing to come here to help Donnie. This place gives me the creeps.
(Y/N)'s POV:
I can't believe she fell for it, I know I said that I was gonna leave them alone but I had to ask that.
In the lab
After a while, we have found a centrifuge, some thermometers, a few weighing scales and couple of Bunsen Burners, that are all in good shape. The centrifuge is a big banged up but it still works. I see through the window that it is starting to go dark outside. Have we really been out all day?
"Hey, (Y/N), my phone is dead, do you know what time it is?" April asks, walking over to me. I go to check my watch because my phone is dead too, and my eyes widen.
"(Y/N), (Y/N) what time is it?" she repeats. I show her my watch and her eyes widen to. It reads:
8:45 PM
We were meant to be back 15 minutes ago! April and I look at each other, both of us knowing that we are in trouble. Quickly we start wiping away where we have touched to make sure no one knew we were here and left the building. Running all the way back to the lair, well as fast as we could while carrying the science equipment.
