Chapter 4: I am a maid, working for the Phantomhive's.. What?!

I woke up and I peek at the window, it was already nighttime! I quickly get up and ran to the door, but before I open it, Sebastian walk inside the room and said:

"Hmm... Why have you left the room, my lady? Since that it is already dark.. You have to stay here.. It's quite horrifying for a young lady like you to go outside where it is dark and terrifying." He chuckled.

"Sebastian... I just need to leave this room please.. I have to go home.. My father would be upset if I come late.." I said with a worry look plastered on my face.

"I know that you're father isn't coming home tonight, my lady. He is going on a business trip." He said with a calm voice.

"A-a business trip?! He said that he would go home and have dinner with me.. How upsetting.. I wouldn't care to go back home now.. He's just wasting my time.."

"You must stay here, Lady Veronique. You can have a job if you want to.. You can ask my master.. He only accepts someone who knows to do something right." He said calmly.

"Oh.. Alright, I'll try.. I know how to clean.. Or cook.. Tarts, desserts, appetizers and much more.. In cleaning, I know how to do the laundry, how to wash the dishes and sweep the floor.. Am I alright for the master?"

"Absolutely, he shall definitely accept you. You surely know how to work.. I think that young master might make you a maid.. How about in plants? Are you good with them?"

"Umm... No! I am very terrible at gardening.. I tried planting but any plants that I will grow will mysteriously wither, so I decided not to touch them.. Except for roses.." I said with a confident smile.

Sebastian smiled and said,"Hmm... You're talented in housekeeping, aren't you? You almost know everything in housekeeping except for gardening.."

I chuckle and sigh. Sebastian said,"Follow me to the young master." I nodded and we left the room. We wander until we found where the master stays in. Sebastian opens the door and we went in.

The boy that I have saw before was there doing his paperwork. He looks at me and Sebastian, he said:

"Why is she here, Sebastian?" He said with an annoyed voice.

"Master, she wants to work here as a maid.. Well, she knows how to do everything except for gardening.. She does very well in housekeeping."

"Oh, yes! I have known housekeeping very well.. I know how to cook and clean.. I know how to make tarts, cakes, sweets, appetizers and many more.." I said with a fake smile.

"Hmm.. How brilliant for a lady like you to know many things about housekeeping.. Lady, what's your name again? Full name please.."

"Um.. Thank you, sir.. I am Veronique, Veronique Alice Hellcresth.. I am from the Hellcresth family, sir.."

"The Hellcresth's? Hmm.. I have heard that your family is wealthy, why did you want to work here, Lady Veronique? And oh, I am sorry.. My name is Ciel Phantomhive." He said with a little smile.

"Oh.. I just want to spend time with people.. My father doesn't stay at the manor, he always have important things to do.. So I wanted to spend time here, with people that I think that I am fond of." I said clearly.

"Hmm.. What a quite reliable answer.. Alright! Then I'll accept you to be a maid here in my manor. You can do anything you'd like.. Cleaning, doing the chores, making the dishes.. Everything.. Now, I have to do some paperwork.. You two have to leave.." He said with a monotone voice.

"Yes, my Lord." Sebastian said.

Sebastian lead me out of Master's room. He and I started to walk around the manor. There was noises and I mean really loud noises inside the kitchen while we were passing it. Sebastian stops as the noises became louder.. I think that the noises were shattering plates and umm.. Shouting perhaps. Sebastian had an annoyed face and he went inside the kitchen. He glared at 3 people, they might be servants too. They were really scared, there was a man with dirty blond hair and turquoise eyes and a lady with red hair and hazel eyes.
