5: Awkward Much?

I heard Itachi chuckle then footsteps. I spun around and he was right behind me. He put his hands on either side of me to block my escape. He leaned in to me until his lips were at my ear and his breath tickled it.

“Why are you sorry?” He whispered softly.

My face gained back its blush, this time even darker than the last if possible. I looked at the ground in an attempt to hide my blush with a curtain of my green and blue bangs.

“I…I-I don’t…” I stuttered.

“What?” He whispered again this time even softer.

He pulled back to take my chin in his hand and gently lift my head. He stared into my eyes with a smirk on his lips. He kept getting closer and closer then…

“Guys?” A voice asked.-

I looked over Itachi’s shoulder to see a wide-eyed Sasori.

“Uh…Sasori…I-I…um…” I stuttered.

Itachi sighed and backed up from me.

“Gomen, I’ll be taking my leave now.” Itachi said to me.

He walked past Sasori who was still staring at me wide-eyed. I blushed and looked down at the floor. I heard footsteps leave the kitchen and didn’t look up until I was sure he was gone. It was then that Akane walked in with a confused expression.

It was then replaced with an elated one as she saw my still red cheeks. She ran into the living room and came back with a giggling Konan. They ran to me and started asking questions.

“What happened?” Konan asked.

“N-nothing at all!” I said not believing my own words.

“Why did Itachi and Sasori just up and leave?”

“Sasori kind of…walked in…on something…” I said to them.

The two girls squealed and I covered their mouths.

“Quiet or you’ll wake everyone!” I whispered/yelled.

“What happened?” Akane squealed again.

I covered her mouth again.

“If you promise not to do that again I will say, alright?”

She nodded her head. I moved my hand from her mouth and sighed.

“Alright, you might as well sit because you are going to want to collapse hearing this.” I said to them.

Akane and Konan sat down.

“Alright then, well I woke up and I was leaning on Itachi. I figured I fell asleep on him last night. I was staring right into his onyx eyes, my face right under his in perfect alignment too. If he would have leaned down just a bit he could have kissed me. Well I blushed a red as red as your hair Akane as he stared into my eyes. Well I pushed off him with an even darker blush as he smirked at me and walked into the kitchen without a word. He followed me and watched as I did the dishes. Once finished, I said sorry to him. I heard him chuckle and footsteps. I spun around and he was right behind me. He leaned in to my ear until his breath tickled it with his arms on either side of me blocking my escape.” I stopped to catch my breath then continued.

“He then asked for what. I stuttered horribly as my face gained back a darker blush than last time and I tried to hide it with a curtain of my hair. He stuck his hand under my chin and he made me look up at him as he asked me what, softer than before. He leaned in closer then Sasori interrupted him. I looked over Itachi’s shoulder at him and his eyes were wide as he stared at us. Itachi backed away from me, said gomen and walked past Sasori. I blushed as Sasori stared at me and I looked at the floor. I looked back up when I knew he was gone and that was when you came in Akane.”

I sighed as I saw they were going to squeal again. They caught themselves and stopped themselves.

“OMG! Sore wa totemo kawaiidesu! (That is so cute!)” They said in unison.

I sighed then headed to my room. I lied on my green and blue bed in my blue and green trimmed room. I sighed and drifted off into sleep. I woke to someone shaking me.

“Akane is in the kitchen!” They yelled.

It was Konan. I bolted up almost making her fall off my bed.

“Are you sure?! Where is Leon?” I asked.

“He is in the bathroom.” The bluette said.

“What is she trying to make?”

“I think she is trying to make chicken.”

“That girl is so dead.”

Konan chuckled.

“Why?”

The next thing we knew we heard a loud bang.

“That’s why. She isn’t allowed to cook at all. She can make even cereal explode.”

“Sounds like Deidara.”

“You’re telling me.”

I groaned and walked down the stairs. The other Akatsuki members were still here minus Sasori and Itachi. They were going to ask me a question but when they felt the deadly aura coming from me they backed off. Even Hidan did and he was the bravest of them all to p*ss me off. I stormed off to the kitchen.

“Akane.” I said sweetly.

She looked at me covered in red sauce with a look of terror on her face.

“Leon, give me Urufu (Wolf).” I said.

He immediately came to me with a bat that had a wolf on its black side in silver. It was metal and as I said, black. May I say it was beautiful and deadly. I looked at Leon who was looking at Akane with a look of pity. I then ran at Akane with Urufu.

She ran screaming through the house and every time I got close enough to her I swung but missed but I nailed Hidan in the face sending him flying through the wall. I was smiling sadistically as I was doing this. I finally caught up to Akane and she went flying into the pool.

“That is what you get for disobeying me Akane Shira!” I yelled as her head came up.

Leon jumped into the water and helped her stand. She now had a good sized lump on her head. I didn’t hit her hard enough for her to get a concussion though. If I did that she would already be dead. Wouldn’t want that now would I?

“Now then, anyone else want to disobey me or start a fight?” I said.

All the guys and Konan were staring at me.

“Do I need to repeat myself?”

Everyone shook their heads no. They all looked at me in surprise, even the most stoic of them were afraid of me.

“Okay then.” I said.

I skipped to my living room where Hidan laid unconscious. I moved his body off the coffee table and turned the TV on. I watched TV and slowly the others came to see it too. I laughed mentally at their hesitance. Tobi was the only one to actually sit beside me.

The others sat on the floor, even Hidan when he came around. Everyone warmed back up to me after a while and went back home. It was an event full two days. Awkward, but eventful and fun.
