11: Secrets Revealed

Once we got home I went to my room and got my stuff. I came back to the living room and didn't see Itachi anywhere.

"Akane, Leon, where is Itachi?" I yelled.

Their heads poked out of the kitchen.

"I don't know." Leon said.

"Maybe he went home?" Akane finished.

I nodded.

"Well if he wants to know where I am tell him I am out by the lake painting." I said to them.

They smiled at me and nodded. I smiled back slightly and headed out the door. I walked down the worn path. I haven't been down to the lake in ages so I thought it would be good to go back. It was actually a few years ago I actually found out I owned the land I lived on.

This forest, as far as it stretched, was all mine. It was amazing to me but with the past my family had it wasn't surprising. I just couldn't believe that my parents kept that big of a secret from me...well they hated me so it isn't that big of a surprise.

My grandmother died a few days after my 15th birthday so I only got a small amount of my history but enough to know who and what I was. I finally got to the lake and got out all my supplies. I started painting and just got lost as I did. I loved painting. It was my passion and was what I did when I got mad, sad, happy, anytime really.

The sun was starting to go down I saw so I packed up my things but I just set them by the edge of the lake by a tree. I took off my clothes to reveal the same bathing suit I had on during the water fight. I smiled as I jumped in the water and swam to the middle of the pond.

I lifted my arms and the water lifted me into the sky. I smiled as I could finally let my powers show without anyone being around. I felt my eyes change as the color changed to an electrifying cerulean blue and the green I had disappeared almost completely in them and my hair.

I moved my hands and made the water spread around me then moved each of my fingers separately and the water started to form a lotus around me encasing me in a lotus bud of water. I let the bud bloom and smiled as each petal formed a step for me as it separated from the lotus.

I walked down the water steps and smiled with each one as the petal behind me disappeared into a mist. It was simply beautiful and the moon started to come out. It filtered through the mist making a beautiful haze. I sat on the bank of the lake watching the water as I made it form flowers in front of me.

"That is an amazing power." A voice said behind me.

I jumped up in shock and lost my concentration making the water drop into the lake with an echoing splash. My wings came out on instinct and I looked at the figure in shock then horror as I saw it was Itachi.

"I-Itachi..." I mumbled.

I folded my wings behind me but what he did next surprised me. He grabbed my wing to look at it. They looked like angel wings but were colorful instead of white. I looked to the ground in shame.

I didn't want anyone to know I was this thing. The only ones who knew were Akane and Leon but that is because Leon just happened upon me in a weakened state then I told Akane.

That is actually the first time Leon and I met too. I couldn't remember why but for some reason I was in my natural form. I think I blacked out during a fight or something because I had cuts and bruises as well.
