Heads Up for the New Years Pt. 1

(3 Days Later)

*Melody's POV*

I open my eyes & the sun is already making me legally blind.
Ugh! Thank god im on Winter Break or I would've have to deal with this AND the teachers!
I checked my phone & was surprised when I said that it was 10:21 a.m.

(Vibrate, Vibrate)

Someone was calling me & I saw that it was Momma Shana.
I picked it up.
"Hey, Momma Shana!", I said.
"Hey darling! I'm sorry, we're u sleeping?"
"No, no. I just woke up. Anyways, it's been a long time since we've spoken! Is Devin, Lexi & them still in New York?", I asked.
"Yeah, they performed yesterday so they're coming back tomorrow morning with my husband but, I have some exciting news to tell u!"
"Yeah?"
"You're going to New York!", she yelled through the phone.
"Wait, what?! B-but how?"
"The boys wanted to spend the New Years with their friends, so, they asked me if I can drive all of u to New York for New Years Eve. Isn't it exciting?! I already called the rest of the group & they are already getting ready to leave. I'll come pick u up at 2:00 ok?", she stated.
"Ok! I'll be ready by then. See u Momma Shana.", I said.

I hung up & was so excited.
I'm going to New York? I wonder which of the boys thought about this plan???
Anyways, I better eat something & get ready.

I got up & did my morning routine.

When I got outta the bathroom, I headed downstairs & head towards the kitchen.
I made myself some scrambled eggs with some bread & drank iced tea.

When I was finished, I texted my sister that I was going to spend the rest of the day & most of the morning tomorrow in New York.
She told me the regular about no drinking & to be safe & that if I'm not back by 12:00 p.m tomorrow, she's sending my brother to come get me.😅

I went upstairs & took a quick shower.
I then, got my mini black book bag & packed an outfit for the next day.

My Outfit right now was, marrón pants that looks like jeans, a long-sleeved black wool shirt & a pair of white combat boots.

After I put on my outfit, I went downstairs & watched TV until the time came.

(4 Hours Later)

(Honk, Honk)

I heard a huge honk from outside & automatically knew that it was Momma Shana.
I grabbed my mini bag, keys, & phone & went outside.

"Dang.", i said as soon as I saw Momma Shana driving behind a huge car. It wasn't even a mini-van, it was a car?!
I walked & the door opened for me.
"Get in girl!", Renee said patting down the seat next to me.
I got in & saw everyone: Joshua, Mariah, Shari, Renee, Jakeline, & Erika.

We started moving.

(1 Hour Later)

"So u excited to see them?", Joshua asked me.
"Yeah, I can't wait to see Lexi as well as Devin too.", I responded.
"What about Kevin & Daniel?", he stated.

(Silence)

"Well?", he said.

(Silence)

(Sighs)

I sighed.
"I don't know. They really are giving me a headache.", I finally said running my head.
"Really? Ha, I guess they're boutta give u a heart attack now.", he states.
"What do u mean?"
"Think about it, they couldn't even spend 3 days without seeing u. Now, they randomly out of the blue, came up with the idea of sending all of us to New York right when New Years is right around the corner...tonight. They some sneaky lil boys I tell u that...."
"You've got a point....but....didn't u like me too?"
"I do.....but I'm not pushing any more stress on u like those two. I rather let u choose & if it's not me.....I'm just glad that you'll be happy.", he says smiling.
How sweet........

Though, the whole thing about them inviting us to New York got me thinking the whole drive there.

(30 Minutes Later)

Meanwhile, at the hotel where the boys where staying at:

*Daniel's POV*

I buckled up my shoes & cleaned up nice.
I checked the time on my watch & it said that it was 4:00 p.m. I could see that the sun was starting to set.
The girls & Joshua will be here in 10 minutes & Momma Shana & Allstar gave us the whole day together.
After Momma Shana drops them off, she & Allstar will go back to NJ & wait for us tomorrow.
We told Momma Shana to make sure that everyone brings a nice outfit 'cause we're going out to a fancy restaurant as friends then go to Time Square to watch the ball drop on a rooftop Devin found that no one knows about near it.
It has a clear sky view & we'll be able to see New York from it.
Then.....that's when I'll tell everybody the big news...........

Next Room:

*Kevin's POV*

I set foot out of the shower & wrap the towel around my waist. Water droplets stream down my body as I dry my hair with a mini towel.
I walk towards the bed where my outfit for tonight was.
Tonight....I know what Daniel's gonna tell everyone else.....but, I need to make sure that he doesn't......I need to make sure that I tell them first.........
