Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Are you coming?

Today is the day I finally get to see my old best friend. Her family is really cool,even before they were famous. Her name is Rydel Lynch. I kinda have a crush on her brother Riker, even though I never told anyone but I never told anyone but my journal. I live in California and they've been gone forever. I haven't seen them in years. To be fair though, I came back from Florida like a year ago and they've been on tour. I told them that I was moving back the they said they're going to be there soon. I hope that they're happy to see me. I live with my dad and little cousin so there wasn't that much to move. My name is Cici Everdeen. My real name is Sierra but everyone calls me cici. I got that nickname because that's what my cousin first called me so I stuck with it. Now that you know the background I should probably get on with the story.

Cici's pov

I am so happy that they're coming back. I was brushing my light brown hair that was a little above the middle of my back. I kept putting in different styles but none of them looked good. I gave up and just put it in the normal high ponytail that I do almost every day. It looked pretty good with the grey spaghetti strap shirt and jean shorts. I looked pretty averaged with my straight brown hair, forest green eyes and size. I was pretty small. I was 18 and 5'6. I was pretty skinny too. I rolled my eyes at myself in the mirror. "You need to do something, or you're gonna stay small forever." I said to myself as I walked out of my room. I walked down the stairs and to the kitchen. I made omelets for everyone in fifteen minutes flat. I just finished up mine when the doorbell rang. I didn't know who it was, but I set my plate in the sink and walked to the door. There stood the Lynch family. Riker looked better then he had the last time I saw him. He was cute the last time I saw him, but now he was like ten times cuter. I grabbed Rydel in a hug first. "Oh my gosh Cici, you look so pretty. You've gotten so much bigger!" she said. I smiled and have everyone else a hug too.

Riker's pov

We knocked and I hopped that she would answer. Nobody knew, but I had a little crush on her. When she opened the door, I stood there shocked. I didn't think that she could get any prettier, but she made it possible. Her bright green eyes sparkling and light brown hair hanging in a pony tail. She smiled as she gave me a hug and I squeezed her back. "I didn't know you guys were coming over! I would've gotten dressed better or something." She said. She looked good anyways. " We were hoping you would be able to spend the day with us, go to the beach or something." Rydel said seeing the look on my face. I wanted to stay with her for a while, not seeing her for years really made me miss her. "Yeah, let me ask my dad." She said. " Ok, and we need to get ready. the first one to make it to the car gets to choose what we eat." I said pointing at the car. we were next door neighbors too. "Go!" Ratliff yelled and she laughed and ran into her house.
