Chapter 14

Chapter 14:scary dreams and popping the questions

Riker's pov

I walked inside the house and put my stuff in my room. I went to my bathroom to take a shower. I needed a cold shower because of how hot it was outside. When I got out, I pulled on some pajama pants and went straight to my bed. I tried to go to sleep but I kept thinking about Cici. I really need to talk to her. I thought about what I was going to say and soon fell asleep. I was walking in the forest with Cici next to me. I turned to her and tried to talk. She looked at me with a curious expression. "I really like you." I blurted out finally finding my voice. She started laughing at me. That laugh grew louder and louder. I closed my eyes and covered my ears. When the laugh faded away, I realized that that wasn't her normal laugh. I opened my eyes and she was gone, like she vanished into thin air. I could hear the faint sound of someone calling my name. It was her voice. I ran in the direction of the voice. I ran faster as the voice started screaming. I couldn't find her and I kept falling over. I tripped over anything and I couldn't run. I opened my eyes with a gasp and looked to see Ross shacking me awake. "Dude, have a bad dream?" he asked. I gave him a look that said 'how did you know'. "You were yelling stop the stared yelling Cici's name. Dude what happened?" he asked. I shook my head as I walked down stairs to start making breakfast.

Ross's pov

I are breakfast fast. I was still a little worries about Riker but I was meeting Ashley over at the park in an hour. When I finished I dashed up the stairs to my room. I pulled out a blue button down shirt, a pair of black khaki shorts and slipped on my converse. I looked at the clock. I had 45 minutes and it took 30 minutes to get there. I ran down the stairs, told my mom where I was going and ran to my car. I got to the park just in time as I saw Ashley pull up beside me. I got out and gave her a hug. We walked around the park for a bit talking about different thing like favorite weather and food and drinks. After a while, we sat down on the swings and gently rocked back and forth while talking. "Um, I need to ask you something." I said as I looked sideways at Ashley. "Shoot." she said. I took a deep breath. "I r-really like you a-and u was wondering i-if you would like t-to go out s-sometime?" I said hopefully.
