Chapter 8

Chapter 8: question and new people.

Ross's pov

Me and Ashley talked for a while, getting to know each other. Her favorite color is teal, favorite food is pizza, favorite music is pop and she lives with her mom, grandma and brother. She was really pretty when you cracked her shell. She wanted to meet my family so I brought over to our blanket were everyone was. "Hey guys." I said. "This is Ashley." I told them. They all said their 'heys' and hi's'. Ashley waved and smiled at everyone. Cici looked a little weird wrapped up in her towel. She looked smaller and a little mad or sad. I wondered why, but Riker had almost the same expression so I thought that it was something about them or something. Everyone started talking about different things. It was hard to focus on one thing so I was just trying to read the expression on everyone's face. Cici looked pretty tired, Riker was looking at her like he wants to tell her something, Rocky was arguing with Ratliff about something stupid, and Rydel and Ashley were talking about clothes and colors.

Rikers pov

Cici looked pretty tired, I mean, she did swim a lot and chased after me. She unwrapped her self and used her towel as a pillow at she laid her self out. I started messing with her toes. I was bored, and I watched her expression go to shock for a second then go to relaxed. Her toes were wrinkly from the water and her toenails were painted pink and black. Suddenly she pulled back giggling. "That tickles." she said smiling. I did it again and she pulled back again. "Stop it tickles." she said laughing. "Hey, I was just wondering, uh, are you guys a couple?" Ashley asked. I looked at Cici and raised an eyebrow. "No we're not." she said. I didn't know if I was imagining it, but I think there was a little bit of dissapointment in her voice. "Oh ok." Ashely said and I went back to playing with her toes. When I looked at her, I think she was sleeping. Her eyes were closed and her breathing was even. "Cici, are you sleeping?" I said. "Yes." she said and I smiled.
