Chapter 12: Hotties and Ross wanters.

Rydel's pov

I was laughing so hard i couldn't stand up. When I could finally get control, I gave Ashley a high five. I looked around and saw a really cute guy next to Cici's ex boyfriend. Hold up, what was he doing here? Never mind I'll deal with that later. "Ashley, look at that cute guy next to the one with the surfboard." I said. "But they both have surfboards." Ashely replied. I rolled my eyes at her. "Thank you captain obvious. The one next to the brunette dude." I explained. "Yeah he is pretty cute, but I have my eyes on someone else." She said. "Really who?" Ross said with a little anxiety and jelousy in his voice. Ashley shook her head meaning she wasn't going to tell him. I gave her a pleading look when she looked my way. She quickly glanced at Ross and jerked her head slightly in his direction. "Ohhhh." I said feeling a little stupid I didn't figure it out sooner. Ross gave me a questioning look that I shrugged off.

Ross's pov

Ashely had to go call her parents to check in so Rydel pulled me aside. "Ask her out. C'mon she likes you and it's obvious you like her. Just ask her out." Rydel said. "Woah, slow down. First, she does NOT like me. Second, is it really that obvious? And third, I'm not going to ask her out." I replied. Just then, Ashley walked back up. "Ashley, can I talk to you for a second?" Rydel said. Ashley didn't have time to reply before she was being dragged off by Rydel. My eyes widened a little as I thought about what they might talk about. I pushed the thought to the back of my head. I sat down on our blanket. Cici looked almost asleep and Riker was looking at her like she was the most valuable thing. Rocky was talking to some blond chick by the water and Ratliff was sunbathing. I took my spot and looked at the clouds trying to make shapes.
