There was a loud knock at the door. My brother and I stopped laughing. Rafael's face instantly became all serious.
'God he's in Third in Command mode.' I heard my wolf snicker in the back of my head.
'At least he has a place in the pack.'
You know, I thought I blocked you off. 'Well obviously you did a terrible job at that, since I'm still here. Haha you can't stop me now.'
Oh I think I can.
And then I put up a barrier between my thoughts and my wolves thoughts. Hopefully that will keep her away for now. Ugh she can be a pain.

Once I finished my 'lovely' conversation with my wolf. (Note the sarcasm). I noticed my brother was starring at me.

"What?.... Oh is it me starring off?" he nodded his response. " Sorry my wolf um...er... she's been bothering me lately." I mumbled lamely, and shrugged my shoulders.

"Well don't do that right now the Beta is at the door. So please behave." He simply said with his all serious face and I couldn't help but laugh.

"What happened to my playful, adventurous, FUN brother?" I giggled and then bursted out laughing.

"God what got into you today? What did you eat today?" Rafael raised his eyebrow, then there was another loud knock at the door. "Shit, look Rachel just calm down. Please don't make me look bad." And with that he walked over to the door and opened it.

"Hello Beta Simon. Come on in and don't mind Rachel, she seemed to have woken up on the mental side of the bed."

The Beta chuckled before he responded "There's no need I merely came here to tell you about my son's 'Welcome Home' party. I would like you to attend the party. You know since you are the third in command and he will be your future Beta." Rafael smiled and nodded.

" It would be a pleasure. When will this party be?"

"Well, he'll arrive sometime next week so we don't have a certain date at the time, but I will inform you when we do." After that they started talking about all the lame pack duties. But what stuck out the most in the entire conversation that they had just had was that the Beta had a son. How come I never knew about this 'son'? Was I not important enough to know about this mysterious son of the Beta? I mean, I have lives here for ten years of my life. And I really need to find his name out because I can't call him 'the Beta's son' forever. How embarrassing would that be if greeted him like that? Pretty embarrassing. I mean for Pete's sake he is the Beta's son, he is right under the Alpha and the Luna. Unlike me who's just a little warrior. Well at least I'm not an omega. Gives me the chills just thinking about being such a low class wolf. Hmm, but still I wonder what this future Beta looks like and where was he this whole time?

"What's on your mind sis?" I cut my thought off to look up at my brother.

"Oh nothing I was just thinking about the Beta's son." I said as I slowly started to drift back into my thoughts. But before I could, Rafael responded.

"Yeah, that's gotten me thinking to. So odd that after 11 years of being away he's coming home. You know he was 10 when he left now he's 21! We never got to meet him because we arrived a year after he left. What a shame, but I heard Alexander has kept in touch with him."

"Oh that's cool. If you don't mind I'll be on my way I want to go train later on. You wanna come with?" He had walked over to his desk and turned off the movie he was watching earlier off, started checking reports and started a new document at the same time. He looked up at me for a moment and shook his head. 'Too much work.' He mouthed to me and continued typing. Hmm maybe I missed something while I was thinking of the Beta's son. I shrugged and headed towards the door. "Suit yourself." And closed the door behind me.
