Around 2004-ish, they had this amazing idea for a new album titled Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. This one is my personal favourite.
Mikey looked more like a soccer mom than an alpaca, Ray's hair was fro to the extreme, Gerard looked like a fucking God, and Frank had the most adorably fuckable fucking Mohawk I have ever seen in my entire life probably. And then there was Bob, who was the only blonde there, apart from Frank's Mohawk.
This album was the epitome of angst and was the birth of angsty emo culture everywhere. I've read somewhere on the Internet, "if you don't feel like you could get away with murder after listening to Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, you aren't doing it right."
I've never read anything more truer than that in my entire life. (Except that Gerard is gay for Frank, but I am going to keep my love for gay out of this v true biography. Mostly.)

The first song, Helena, was written in memory of Gerard and Mikey Way's grandma, Elena, after she had passed away. The boy(s/maybe just Gerard?) were very close to her and everyone, the entire emo world, was crushed.
