Unexpected talents, same Alice 8

I hear her shuffle on the other end, "Rose they said you killed them and left with that guy, and you have some kind of thing against the agency." I put her on speaker phone because it's probably easier that way, "Alice what are you doing? I hear a lot of noise." I see Daehyun come back into the room and sit down on the edge of a chair as he observes our conversation. "Rose you know you just had to stir up some stuff on a date night right. If you must know i'm getting ready for a date with someone." I roll my eyes at the expression because this is endless for her, "Alice don't you think you've met enough people, I hear dating that much is bad for your brain." I hear her kind of laugh at me, "Says the girl that threw a drink on her last date. I heard you before you give up on the whole system." Now I see the guys snicker at this, really ugg. "Dude he was a jerk, besides we have more important things for focus on that mr right number 87 tonight." She knows i'm right but still I need her help. "Rose but waa." She sounds like a kid that doesn't get its way in a toy store. "Alice trust me you're not missing much." I hear silence on the other end for a few minutes, I look over at the guys who are now attentively listening and watching and Daehyun is eating popcorn...of course. Finally I hear her get back on the phone. "Ok I told him I could not make it tonight, so have you got a computer with a webcam?" I look over to find one as Youngjae brings over his laptop and sets it on the table for me, I nod to thank him as I sit down in front of it, "Yes i'm at a computer." I hear her start typing things which usually means.. "Hey Rose ok tell me what i'm looking for." I look over the files that were uploaded Daehyun helped put together. "Ok Alice remember the New York killing, now look up the one in Seoul from 2 years ago." I hear her clicking as I see the guys crowd around the computer. "Think about it Alice, no 2 events like that happen the same way." I know there was something off the same amount of our people get killed in 2 different locations. "Rose I think there is one more. Check on Chichigo." I look it up as I see the same thing happened but 5 years back. I don't even notice when the webcams light turns on. "Well Rose you're looking nice today." I look up and see her on the screen pointing in the direction of the webcam. My eyes follow the direction of her finger to the webcam which now has a blue light on beside of it. "Rose don't doubt my abilities to hack into something. So I'm assuming you're doing well off haha." I look side to side as I see all the guys sitting around me watching. And then I see Youngjae looking a little mad that someone had hacked his network as well as computer. "Youngjae don't get mad haha she does this for a living." I watch as Alice props her feet up on the table beside of her, "And I've been doing this a while and i'm good at it so please haha." She is taking this better than I thought. "Ok Rose hang on if we are going to do this let me go to my computer ok I'll be right back." I watch as she cuts off the webcams and I wait for her to pull them back up, I know it won't take her long. So I turn around and try to talk with the guys. Youngguk is actually the first to speak, "So she will help us?" I nod my head, "Yes she will she can get us into the system and anywhere in the agency, plus she can actually tell me about the girl. If she is like me then why have i never met her?" I see Joungup scratch his head, "What are you talking about? Is there another you or some thing?" Well that would be troubling, "No that would technically be impossible, but there is a new girl that apparently wants me dead, and well we can guess who else she wants dead." I look over at Daehyun as he is still eating. How can he eat all that and still look like he does this is unfair. While talking to the others I almost don't notice Alice come back on the screen. "Hey Rose haha i'm baack" How did I just know she was going to sing it? I notice she is in her room with her good computer which is basically 3 huge computers side by side with her own network on them. She claims that she got bored and built it, I believe it was the project she was working on when we first met. "OK can you get into their network now?" I watch as she starts typing on her keyboard, I wonder if her date tonight was the same guy she told me about or not? "Hey Alice" I watch as she nods her head up "The date you had tonight was it the same one you showed me a few days ago?" I see as she shakes her head no, "No that one never showed up to dinner. He was over an hour late so I ate and left." Figures damn jerk, well at least she did not let the food waste. "Alice if I ever see him I will kick his ass ok." As she looks back up smiling "heh Rose you don't have to besides he was taller than you." And what does that mean i'm taller than her? "Alice since when has that ever stopped me hmmm I said hmm?" Actually the number of guys i've set in line is getting high well for her it is. "Rose you are indeed a special child haha, oh yeah Rose, you know it would not kill you to go for a run." And this is about where we are different as well, I work on combat that's my work out, she goes for runs and stuff, yes we are about the same size me being a small or medium depending on place, her mainly a small but still. "Alice you know that will never happen got it. Unless you are chasing me with a weapon or well shooting at me." She just rolls her eyes at me, "Fine lazy bones, anyways I have a problem, their system has like a major fire wall my networks and programs can't even override it." I hear her type a little more, "Crap, I knew it." Well so far not as planned, "What is it? Stuck?" She looks up, "No I mean you can't get into their network all the way unless you are at one of the computers in the building." Well this will work out well....not. "Yeah because one of us can't stroll in there and ask to use a computer." Youngjae does not have to be so sarcastic. "Well none of you can, but I can, believe it or not they do have a few random servers all over. But what we need is the main frame." I see a few people here she could get along with. "Hey Alice, how did Lila take it?" She stopped typing as she looked up at me. "Rose she is torn right now, they own her. I'm sorry." I figured there had to be something but still....I trust her why? "What do you mean they own her Alice?" "Rose it means that for right now stay away from her she is not on our side, she does not have the same faith I have in you ok." Oh great that just what I need a sniper that may or may not be on my side. "Alice keep an eye on her." I can tell she is alluded my decision. "BUT ROSE! She is not on our side she wants to kill you too." I close my eyes I don't care at one point we was friends, maybe if she sees me again I can help her remember. "Alice my decision is final. As far as they know you are with them as well, I don't care she was once one of us, if I see her I can help her." I watch as she puts her hand on her four head I know she's sick of me doing theses things but still. "Rose you get your heart will get you killed one day right, I'll keep you both alive, but i'm hacking into that system got it. I need to know everything they hid." I'm happy I can still count on her she's like the sister I never had. "Oh Alice before you go, who is the new girl? The one that is like me or whatever?" I watch as she gets some papers "her name is Ra Si Yeon, as you can tell they went international here on you." I look at her profile as Alice sets up on a screen. "Yeah well, naneun geunyeoleul dulyeowohaji anhneunda" I watch as Alice gives me a confused look as to what I just said to her, and I feel the guy's eyes look at me. "I don't fear her. That's what I said, what you think that I would not learn another language? And yes I can understand Korean, it's my second language." Alice just looks really irritated at me as I let out a laugh. "So umm back to what we were saying so does she have any relatives mom? dad? Siblings?." As I got and grab her profile from the printer, they really do have everything here. "Crap" I go back as I hear Alice at the computer. "What is it? Found something?" I watch as she pulls up the same thing on my screen. "Blackouts what the hell?" I look over as I see Youngjae observing my screen silently. "Rose this wasn't even done on your profile." Ahh yes mine I remember it my mother dead. Father inactive and then finally dead. "Well no doubt it's another cover up, of something yes. Who knows maybe this time they really did get a nobody to hunt me. I have doubts any of us can figure out who she is or get the ones that aren't blacked out." I watch as she types something on her computer but to no avail. "Alice you are even locked out. Look just keep me posted about what's going on but don't get yourself caught." She looks at me with a witty expression. "Rose I was never caught at work. I was not caught when I wiped your hard drive at the office and home." Well at least she did that for me that would have been bad had she not. "Thanks. Hey also I need you to break back into my place and take the guns I had stashed, also any other useful stuff. I stashed some stuff at your place but you might need more." She looks cool with it but a little shocked I stashed stuff at her place haha well She needs to use a gun at some point. That's mostly why she's more tech then like me, she don't like to use a gun. "Ah yes Rose before you go can you guess what's happening next week?" Oh crap, don't say it. "Come on pleeeesssssseee I can sneak you in I got a solution, you can figure out what they are up to you know they have some kind of big announcement that will happen there it's supposed to be a big deal." Well this is never good but I bet there is a catch with her. "Alice what's your catch? They know my face and-" Alice shushes Rose "I can fix that you know I have mad make up skills. But we need dates. And well the one I had well I can't really call him thats to a certain girl haha." You have got to be kidding me right? "Alice I don't like where this is going." She rolls her eyes. "Rose we have 5 potentials I see with you except that one that's eating the popcorn I think he's the one you were supposed to kill." I look back at Daehyun as he shrugs and then realizes what she just said, the look on his face makes me giggle some as I look back at her. Then all of a sudden Yongguk jumps in "Sure we will do it." Well that was not what I expected. "Well anyways guys its nice to meet everyone and know you are alive Rose. You were right you know, they are up to something." I wonder though "Alice does this mean i'm right about online dating and how it's stupid? Ayee." I raise my eyebrow and do a cheeky smile. And I get an irritated and bored look back, "What you can't blame me for trying." and she replies to "Rose just because you basically suck at dating in general..." and then I hear about all the guys laugh at that. "Hey now I don't suck at it, I maintained a relationship for like 5 months." Well do we have to start this again. "Rose we hate him and that was like 4 years ago, I took care of your problem, try to be flexible. Also you left juice boxes in my house from last week and I must compliment you on the flavor. Well any who bye hehe." Before I have a chance to say anything she waves and gets off her webcam. I get up a little irritated, as I walk over to the kitchen and start cooking. "So Rose umm angry cooking?" I hear Himchan I guess this is awkward for them too. I don't mention my relationships for a reason, all of them are bad or ended badly so on a list of things that make me mad that it so I cook. "Yeah, I can cook tonight, and I can be fast but i'm pretty sure I will need to cook a lot because Daehyun keeps eating stuff." As Himchan laughs, "Well don't cook like him then. His cooking always involves almost setting something on fire." Daehyun looks over at him "HEY YOU ALMOST SET ME ON FIRE LAST TIME YOU COOKED!" As Himchan crosses his arms at Daehyun, "You probably deserved it." I turn my back to them as I let out a small smile, I love it here the guys are really funny and very dysfunctional.
