Did I mention I hate fancy events? 13

I start rummaging through my closet to find something to wear to the event, however this proves to be a problem, I cant find anything fancy. I text Alice much to my surprise she responds by saying we need to go shopping then. I'm not sure if she realizes it or not but I am wanted and could probably be brought in if they saw me. I decide to text her back saying she find me and her an outfit she knows both my shoe size and dress size nothing too stupid or anything. A few minutes later a message pops up saying we can go out of town to shop. I decline and tell her to just go ahead and meet me at a coffee shop I know is about 20 minutes away from here I figured I could lead her the rest of the way here. I look back as she finally agrees saying she needs to pick other stuff up too and she will be here around 6 pm the next day. I finally hear someone in my door way, "Looking for something?" I see Daehyun standing in the doorway, I look back at him and softly smile, "Well something to wear for the stupid party I have to sneak into. Alice is going to be here tomorrow for supper and she will bring clothes and stuff. She got 4 days off for it, she's done this like forever." He softly chuckled at my sentence as he comes and hugs me from behind. I lean my head back as the back of my head rests on his shoulder under his neck. I just stand there for a few minutes, it's times like this that make me love him more, it's true I never told him this mostly because it might end bad, yet somehow he makes me think i'm not a heartless person after all.

After a day of training and eating it was finally time to rest I knew that at 6 tomorrow I would finally get to see my best friend again. I stared at the clock as it was 1:00 am Daehyun's arm was laying across my stomach as he was in deep sleep. It took me a while but I finally was able to sleep.

It's now 5:40 pm we had been prepping all day, "Ok boys i'm heading out I shall return and don't burn the place down." I went down to the garage and got onto a bike as I put a helmet on and drove to the coffee shop. I waited at the curb till I saw Alice and her little blue mini Cooper pull up and roll down the driver side window "So am I following you?" I nod as I look to make sure she was not followed. "Yeah just follow me." I hop back on the bike as we go back to the place. I kept my helmet on the entire time till we both pulled into the garage. Since I did not want to chance it I convinced her to pull her car in to so it would not be spotted. I parked the bike and took off my helmet as Alice got out of her car and opened her hatchback to reveal 4 big shopping bags full of clothes and shoes. "Believe me I got us 3 dresses each and 3 different shoes each oh and some makeup hehe." I grab 2 of the bags as she grabs the other two, "Come on woman I want you to meet the guys!" We make our way up the stairs, "So Rose this means I get to meet your boyfriend right?" I stop dead in my tracks at what she said, "Umm Alice?" She looks at me puzzled, "What? What is it?" I mean I really like Daehyun hell I even love him but I've never called him that it's been what a week or two? "Umm well it's just that I don't refer to him as that right now." She looks at me again, "You might die alone for being dense jeez admit your feeling for a guy once, they arent all the same." I shake the thought and push through the doors as we finally make it to the living room where all the guys are watching TV. I abruptly sit the bags on the ground huffing.

21 march the 18th ahh what a lovely day today or not"You guys are soo helpful" Alice come in behind me all smiles "Hiii guys guess who it is!" Without turning around Yongguk remarks "Let me guess you brought the geek." Then I watch as she marches over to him, "YOU! I told you next time I saw you I would punch you." She abruptly jabs him in the gut, "Alice chill!" I calm them as much as I can, I decide to make some supper, I was thinking stir fry. "Alice want to help me in the kitchen?" She glares at Yongguk before joining me. I start working on a stir fry as she starts making all the other sides, Zelo comes up and asks if he can help I told him it's ok that he should not worry about it, "What are you making then?" I look back at him as I chop some more, "Stir fry is that ok?" He looks at me, "Just because we're Korean?" He laughs some, "Actually I never thought of that, hmm." He gets the table set up as we continue cooking, "Well I think I know who your date will be hehe." I look back at her "Well I guess yeah they don't know him I think they only know Daehyun." I gear starts turning in my head, "So I can pick your date then?" She rolls her eyes at me, it's not hard for her to find guys because she's kind of short. "Ok I think it would be good if the leader was in with us to we can plan a good defense that way and figure out more." She She haply nods "OK so who is the leader." I can't help it my face turns to an evil smirk finally I can back at her, "It's Yongguk" Her face turns to annoyed anger, "Hell no!" we finish cooking, "Come on it's not that bad he is nice after you get to know him." She ignores me as we set the food on the table. We all sit down Alice sits on my left as Daehyun sits on my right. I finally speak, "Ok so as for the event, Zelo and Yongguk you guys will accompany us ok." Alice and Yongguk eye each other "As long as she don't kill me fine." I see Daehyun and Zelo staring at each other which can best be described as rivalry. Suddenly Alice looks up from her food, "Holy crap Rose how did you forget what day the event falls on?!" They all look back at her then me, crap. "Rose it's your birthday!" I stop eating and look up, "Ok don't remind me." And then she spills out. "Ohhh come one its 21 finally now you're just one year behind me officially!" I finish eating as I clear my place and walk to the kitchen, "It don't matter ok lets not bring it up." I put my dishes in the sink, true this would now make me a year younger than Daehyun, so he woul be 21 for right now thought his korean age would be 22.And his birthday being in 3 months he would be 23 by the korean age.

We all sit at the TV, Alice on the end with a blanket Yongguk in the chair, me laying on Daehyun's Chest as I hear his heartbeat, I catch Alice looking over at me a few times, Zelo and Jongup sitting watching the TV attentively Yongjae sitting on the other side of me and Daehyun and Himchan sitting at the other end. "Alice since you are here you may as well stay the night, if that's ok?" She looked over at Yongguk surprised, "Umm ok Thank you?" He nods I think we can find-" Daehyun interrupts him, "Oh she can stay in my room." To which all of them look at him, "Oh its ok Ill stay with Rose." Why did he just- Alice was about to argue but then she giggled and just said noting.

Me and Alice are in my room as I lend her some clothes to sleep in, "Sooo" She sits on my bed and looks at me innocent. I look back at her in one of my blue t-shirts, and white shorts. "So what?" She gives me look as I slip on a loose black shirt with some short black shorts with a pink bow on the front. "Why would he say he was staying with you?" I look down sitting in front of her as I try to think of a lie, before I can however Daehyun comes in and lays down on his stomach on my bed. "I like her bed better." I saw a slight part of his skin when he was laying down A small part of his side was exposed, I felt my cheeks get a bit red as I turned away from him. This may have not let him see this but Alice did. "Awww." I glared at her. "What?" She looked back at him as he had his hand on my hip. This only made my cheeks worse, "Nothing just never thought I would see you like this Rose hehe so I know your type now." I hit her with a pillow, "Shut your face." She just laughed again, "OH come on I think it's cute you two just work so well I think it even looks right at a glance." I look back up at her, Are you going to bed now?" She gets up and huffs. "Why you want me out?" Daehyun gets up and walks to the bathroom and closes the door. I look back Alice, "nothing happened between us gosh." She raises an eyebrow "well-" she was cut off by Daehyun as he emerged from the bathroom but without his shirt. I remember the only time before I saw him without his shirt, I cheeks started burning again, "Well I can see another reason you like him." Alice whispered to me as she got up, "I'm going to bed thank you for letting me use your room Daehyun. She finally leaves a she closes the door, "Umm don't you want to get another shirt before-" He climbs into bed, "nah i'm fine" I saw each one of his abs as I turned away, the was only wearing a pair of gray sweatpants now, "Hey sleep?" As he tugged on my shirt, I finally snapped out of my thought and got under the sheets. I wanted to not look but I couldn't, I laid my head on his bare chest as my left hand lay on his stomach, "What are you uncomfortable?" I look at him, "Hmm?"

"With me like this?" I raise my head up to where my lips finally meet his, I pull away with my nose still touching his, "no i'm fine with it." That's all I could say, hell I was more than fine, if certain thoughts would get out of my head. But I won't do anything. We aren't officially dating, I think. We finally both fall asleep, I know what tomorrow brings.
