Rain Sound (B.A.P. Daehyun)

42-"Can you promise me something?"

I shoot up awake in a cold sweat. I look over at Daehyun who is fast asleep as I ease myself out of bed. I find a piece of paper and a pen as I sneak into the bathroom and shut the door behind me The dim light is all I need to write it. I finish and fold the letter up, as I walk out. I put on a pair of my shorts that were laying in the floor as i then sneak out the door and shut it quietly behind me. I make my way to the kitchen to get some water. I stop in my tracks when I see Yongguk typing on his laptop as he looks up at me. "What are you doing up?" I look to the side as I take a seat beside him, "I could ask you the same thing." He turns back to his laptop, "trying to finish somethings. So what's wrong?" I debate on telling him or not but he might be the only one willing to help me. "Well I was having some bad dreams that's why I was up early yesterday." He nods and raises his eyebrows questionably, "Why didn't you wake up Daehyun?" I shake my head, "it was none of his concern and not really worth waking him up over." He types something. "Besides I need your help with something." He stops typing and looks at me, "what exactly is it you need." I bite the inside of my cheek as I take out the folded letter, "I need this to get to Daehyun either at breakfast or when he wakes up. I can't stay with you guys anymore. I have to fix these things that I screwed up." He puts his fist on his cheek like he's thinking I guess. "What are you going to do?" I breath in, "You can't tell them . Promise?" He runs his fingers through his hair, "ok fine I promise." I breath in, "Ok I made a deal with Ra Si Yeon, and Mike. It will hopefully keep Daehyun safe along with the rest of you." I slide the plane ticket back to him, "I won't be needing this." He taps his lips as he looks at me like he can't believe what I said, he pushes the ticket back at me, "do you have any idea what you are doing? What you are saying?" I tap it with my index finger, "They will probably try to follow me. I need you to be the driver, if you guys happen to get there while I am there I want you to not let them out. Do not let them help me or try and save me. Drive away and get out of dodge." He considers what I said, "what you're asking of me..." I breath back in, "your the only person I can trust to make this call. Alice won't hear it neither will Daehyun or Zelo. The others I don't know if they could help me make the call." This is the only option for me. "What was the deal?" I look back at him, "huh? Oh if I turn myself in she will let Daehyun live. They won't pursue Alice as a traitor either, the rest of you they have nothing on you guys. It will be on Riverside street near the coffee shop." I can tell he don't like it but he accepts it. "I think you need to be gone before they wake up. I nod at him as I get back up, "he will miss you, ya know." I look back at Yongguk before I walk back to my room. "I'm doing this to save him. If I can't even save the person I care most about what good am I? Besides he's known me what maybe two week or something like that? That's not enough time to love someone." I let my hand fall back to my side as I hear one final phrase from Yongguk, "For him it is." I creep back into my room as I slide the letter into the small drawer at my dresser and crawl back into bed. My eye shoot open I see the clock as it says 7:30am. I look over at a sleeping Daehyun, as I smile at him. The last time I would be able to see his face so peaceful. I get up out of bed and change my clothes. I put on my black skinny jeans and my army green plain colored short sleeved shirt as I put my socks on and my black combat boots. I decide to put on my black leather jacket as I zip it up and tie my hair back in a pony tail. I remove the letter from the night stand and place it on my pillow beside him. My fingers touch the ring on the necklace he gave me. I unhook it from the back of my neck and put it on the letter beside him. I put my two guns on my holsters on my belt as i lay my phone down on my dresser as I sneak out,I take one last look at him, "I love you and i'm sorry, goodbye." I wipe the tears that started to pool at my eyes as I make my way down to the garage and get on the black bike. I put on the helmet as I start the bike up and take off.
