Chapter 3- From Physics to Notorious Bad Boys
Chapter's song-  The Weight, Shawn Mendes (can't wait for this kids future!)

"A true relationship is two unperfect people refusing to give up on each other"

Matilda
I'm currently sitting in Physics tapping my pen against my head like I'm trying to push pathetic answers inside my pea sized brain.

When I entered into Physics this morning I was greeted by one of my favourite teachers at Delroy High, Mr Peters. He's a short, stocky looking man. He has close to no hair on his head. As always he was dressed in his work attire; a navy coloured suit and a pink striped tie to match.

I've always thought of him as a nice person. That was until I heard we were getting a test today.
On a bloody Monday morning!
I was beyond unprepared. I was mentally, and obviously emotionally not ready for this test that I didn't study for. After my petty tantrum and feeling sorry for myself for a little while longer, I decided to toughen up and just get on with the test.

I'm now sitting in my seat staring at my paper which I have written a good amount of answers on.

As I have reputation for good grades I have to try really hard in this test. Unlike most kids in my class I need good grades, not just for my self pride but as always to keep up my A+ grades status.
Finishing the last answer on the page I stand up and walk straight to the front of the class. I hear a few murmurs behind me. "She's done already?!"I hear someone whisper to I think someone beside them.
At that moment I really wanted to turn around and tell them to all mind their own business. Everyone here is so nosy.
I tried the best I could to ignore the comments.
I decided to just sway my hips a bit more and flip my hair to the side.
That'll get their attention!
A few whistles later and I'm satisfied.
I place my paper onto Mr Peters front desk and go back to my seat. Just as I was about to sit down the bell goes off indicating break. I grab my tote bag that was sitting beside my desk and hurry out of class.

Walking down the halls of school, I look for Emma and Vanessa. Just like me, they are the most popular girls in school. But unlike me, they love it.

Emma is the definition of perfection. From her toned body, to her skinny legs, to her perfectly put on makeup. She's got it all going for her. She's what I always wanted to be.
Today she wears black, ripped skinny jeans, a white turtleneck with brown knee boots. As always her black hair is curled to perfection and her accessories all match perfectly.

Then there is Vanessa. She has blonde, bleached hair, big blue eyes and is overall drop dead gorgeous. She wears black leather pants, a white turtleneck just like Emma's. She wears a camel knit coat over the turtleneck and matches it all with a red tartan scarf.

Emma spots me first and flashes me a wide smile showing all of her white teeth. Emma grabs Vanessa's hand and within seconds they are both running towards me. I run towards them both and we collide wrapping our arms around each other. When we pull apart we all smile at one another like crazy kids.
"Hey girls" I say smiling still.
"Matilda! We were so worried you weren't going to show up. You know after you declined hanging out with us on the weekend. We kinda got the hint that you didn't want to hang around with us and the girls anymore"
I sigh, she always has to make things uncomfortable.
Did I forget to mention that Emma is a bit of a nightmare. Well if I didn't mention it, than she is. Her voice is squeaky and it rings through your ears every time she speaks. When she gets upset over something as stupid as breaking a nail, her voice sounds worse. A close description of it would be comparing it to a cat scraping it's long, sharp claws down a black board. It still may not even compare to how annoying her voice truly is.
