Just a week! And then Minerva would be meeting her parents, her in-laws, with her husband! Marble balls churned in her stomach. Her first visit to the uncle-auntie after marriage. Oops! 'ma-baba' from now on. A new set of 'ma-baba'! She gulped thinking what to do in their first trip! But the ringtone of her phone reminded her of the work she had here. Frowning, she received the call and in few minutes her pearl like teeth flashed smiles.

Dhritiman started winding his works and assigning tasks to his subordinates as he would have to leave soon. Completing his reports, he checked whether his air tickets were confirmed or not. Dhriti chucked to himself. How he hated flights. Just for this hatred towards flight he and Tiya had planned their honeymoon inland, though his girlfriend had made too much fuss about it. And, why not? After all honeymoon was to be celebrated just once. Today he could not believe he himself was booking flight tickets. That too for his forced wife. But again, why not? Yes indeed forced, but special. And he could do at least this much. May be just returning her favour, for the way she used to take care of him!
But what he was confused was about why was he going there? To meet Tiya for one last time? To clear the fog of betrayal? Was it really that easy for her to forget him? To forget his touches? To kill his memories? Those memories, where he was everything like her very personal wizard with wicked games but honest passion; those pinky promises. Dhritiman shook his head is despair. This was really important now. Was everything fake since the beginning?

Soon the day arrived and they left for Chennai. Itinerary showed the flight from Kolkata to Chennai, then little ride to Amravathinagar which was around 7 kilo meters from Chennai, though their parents lived at the other end of the town which made extra 5 kilo meters.
Stretching legs more forward Dhritiman leaned back. He had a magical habit of taking power naps whenever he felt like. All thanks to his duty! Which could keep him awake for continuous 72 hours and the sleep like corpse and again take naps every now and then before some operation. Darting his eyes he found wife buried in a romantic novel! At least the cover said so. Again unexpected. Who knew his dear Minerva could read romantic books? For as much as he thought, Minu was never any close to the 'R' of romance! Wait a second. What did he just think? "his dear Minerva?" shhooooo... shooing his thoughts he closed his eyes as the aeroplane started running.. soon it left the ground and with that Dhritiman dived into siesta..!!
-------------------------------------------
Dhriti woke up with a jerk..!! what happened!! Trying to straighten himself.. "I guess the plane entered an air pocket.. don't worry.. nothing happened!" he heard her assuring voice.. looking at her he suddenly realised, all this time he was sleeping on her shoulder.. and not even once did she say anything!
"sorry".. he muttered.. what the hell! How could he sleep on her shoulder!
Soon the air hostess announced the landing.

Minerva kept looking at the beautiful Chennai airport.. where as Dhritman made a face pulling up their trolleys from the conveyer belt.. "madam.. atleast help me out to recognise your bags".. he chided.. "blue V.I.P and black Dunlop" she said without a blink.. Dhriti followed her gaze and a little corner of his heart burnt. Minerva was looking, rather gazing at a guy in a mauve colour shirt and plain black demin. He looked at himself.. his Popeye t-shirt, and baggy corduroy pants and floaters! So Minu liked men in shirt?? But what now? He has packed all his tees.. and why not? With that khaki uniform, he was actually tired of those tugged in shirts, belts.. trousers.. boots..!! But again why was he thinking of all these?? It was not that he wanted to woo Minu.. so??
------------------------------------------
"Dada..." Ridhiman yelled at waved a hi.. The Gupta couple saw him now.. the brothers hugged each other followed by a side hug between Ridhi and Minerva.. which obviously strained Dhriti's eyes but he chose to ignore!
It was merely a twenty minutes, and the Gupta family saw the new couple entering the main gate..
Minerva jumped out and sprinted to her new mumma!! "whoa.. you bags.." Dhriti scowled.. "carry them.." she chipped with her eyes yet on her mother-in-law.. he hissed and was about to say something when "what?? you are husband.. so carry them!"
Mrs. Gupta could not help but smile.. somehow she was sure.. no matter how dangerous the storm was this new couple will definitely sail their boat through it!!
Minerva's parents too arrived to meet their daughter and son-in-law..!! Mrs. Roy tried to search for any dolour in her daughter's eyes.. but could not find any.. had everything sorted? Or her daughter didn't really care about anything like she used to..??
--------------------------------------------------------------
Well.. the evening hopped into the night.. and the new Gupta couple realised, it wasn't their flat.. but it was their house.. and unlike the flat, here, they had to share the room!!
