"I never knew things went so far Dhritiman Gupta. Talk to her tomorrow. May be.." and for the first time in all these days, he witnessed his wife shedding tears...

--------------------------------------------------------

Dawn broke in with a new air waking Dhritiman up. The first thing he saw today was his wife sleeping peacefully at the other side, with her back towards him. Her lavish mahogany tresses looked beautiful under the sunrays. But what are these? Gosh.. why didn't I notice before? The golden streaks! Well, may be because, this is first time they were sharing a room, he is noticing them now. Or may be she always used to clutch her hair tight! Whatever! Minerva, doesn't exist. Minerva is a myth! No. She exists! She is my wife! She exists! He shook his in frustration!

Minerva, actually had many shades. And each of her didn't gradually mix with the other, but contrasted each other highly! Minerva, got married without her consent. Minerva, is working on the marriage to make it successful. Minerva, hardly passes his way. Minerva, generally doesn't cook for him. Minerva, asked his to sweep the floor next time he threw the food. Minerva, bought her own AC. Minerva cooks his favourite at 2 in morning. Minerva buys gifts for everyone. Minerva, gets body massages. Minerva, who wants to keep the relation also stays out at night due to her work. The very same Minerva, highlights her hair. The very same Minerva, who fasts. IS SHE EVEN REAL?

Shifting the sheet, Dhriti got off the bed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Amravathinagar! The little town has always been his personal heaven. Though he had spend his ninety percent of life here, yet every time he discovered a new peace here.

Inhaling deep, he started his morning warm up. Dhritiman felt like laughing at himself. A habit of seven days. Just seven days. Never before he knew he was so unfit! Minu was right.

He stood at the bank of the lake. When was the last time he swam? Umm.. Not in the last two years. His schedule did not permit him to join any swimming club in Kolkata. Keeping the big shopper aside, he jumped in.

Aah! Peace!
