Part 8

Third Person POV

It's Monday again. Alyssa remembered that Ysay is now her lover. Alyssa got up so early thinking that she would go to work but she realized she resigned from her position. She knows that it was informal to just leave without resigning properly. She immediately turned on her laptop and typed her resignation letter.

When she finished her resignation letter, she immediately prepared breakfast for her and for her kids. Her phone suddenly rang. Ysay texted her. She got her phone and read it.

"Hey! Aly. Good morning. Please don't skip your meal. Be happy. I love you. I'll be there in 30 mins. To be with Kelly and Andre. See you love."

A smile was painted on Alyssa's face. She knows that soon she will fall in love with Ysay. He is not hard to love because he is the guy who will be with you and would try to do everything just to make you happy.

Alyssa replied Ysay.

"Good morning Ysay. Thank you and  we won't skip our meals. See you here."

When Ysay arrived she immediately went to Kiefer's office to personally hand her resignation letter. As she was riding in the elevator he heart beats fast that her breath should cope up. She is nervous. Nervous that she will see Kiefer again.

As she arrived in his office. Kiefer was an his swivel chair facing the the window. She isn't sure what is Kiefer thinking.

"Ehem.... G—Good morning sir. I would personally hand you my resignation letter. Thank you for the opportunity to work in your company. Thank you sir." -A

Kiefer was all in shocked. He never thought that she will do a thing like this. His mind was preoccupied for everything. The real identity of the twins has been revealed to him. He is the real father. He has two kids that was taken away from him.

"NO. I WOULD NOT ACCEPT YOUR RESIGNATION LETTER! Why would you resign? You have a good starting position and your salary is enough to feed the kids?! Why on Earth are you resigning?! And How will you support my children if you don't have work? Damn it Aly!" -K

Alyssa was all in shocked that Kiefer knew about Andre and Kelly. She was literally standing and not paying attention to what Kiefer was talking. She was busy thinking why? When? And who told him? She kept it for years but because she was too obvious and too defensive about them, Kiefer got an idea of everything.

"How could you take them away from me?! You know I want to have kids and you just silently took my right as their father!" -K

Alyssa can't answer his questions. Her mind is in swirls. Suddenly a tear feel off her eyes. She can't take it anymore. She felt that even if she denies it, Kiefer will not stop there. 

"R—rally Kief?! Now you know the truth then I should defend myself for just a little bit. You asked me why didn't I bother you? I was giving you your Goddamn space. For Pete's sake you left me hanging like we were in a fairy tale then Poof! You were all gone. Taken by the wind. How could I tell you well all I can see around me wa you with someone else. You look so happy back then. I don't want to ruin your happiness even if it means for me to leave you and hide everything. You gave me so many reasons to stay but I guess when I saw you with your woman before it was a sign for me to let you go and move forward. It was a big shift into my life. I had you for so many years and in a single snap I lost you. I can't ruin your happiness because you got me pregnant. I was able to survive alone Kief why bother me now?! I will give you your rights as their father but I don't want you to be part of my life again. It was too much Kief." -A

Kiefer saw that Alyssa was crying and it is because of him again. For all those years that they have been together , Alyssa was always crying. He was the type of guy who took Aly for granted. When Alyssa was ready to leave Kiefer and move on from the pain she got from him, a hard realization hit him. He can't live without her. She is his light in his rough and dark road. He wanted Alyssa beside him.

Kiefer was back to reality. He was hesitant at first but he went near Aly and comforted her.

"Ly, I am sorry I I have shouted at you. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. My emotions were too mixed and I can't think properly. I know that you can't forgive me easily because I left you but please give me a chance to fix these problems. I want you back. Please come back to me." -K

Alyssa was lost of words. She wanted to accept Kiefer's offer but she reminded herself that she has Ysay. That Ysay is better than Kiefer because he was with her throughout the years.

As she wiped her tears she told Kiefer:

"Kief, I would no accept you anymore. Somebody stole my heart and I can't leave him. He was with me all throughout my pains and joy. I don't want to hurt him Kief. I am so sorry. Please accept my resignation letter sir. I have to go. Good bye sir have a nice day." -A

Alyssa was stunned to what she told Kiefer. She rejected him. She wanted him back but she was too afraid to love him again. She was rode off the elevator and went out of the building and left her broken heart there. She wanted to end everything so that she can finally move forward.

Kiefer on the other hand is crying. Crying for e totally lost her. Even though he was the father but still she didn't come back into his arms. Some other guy got her heart and it breaks his. It was too painful to take all the heartaches. He went down and drove off to Rizal. He will go far away from the city to relax and try to ease his pain. He arrived in a church were all his wishes came true.

And now Alyssa is all gone. He has this hope that the kids would be their bridge but it has no assurance.

Last hope that Alyssa will accept him in her life again. It is against all the odds now for Kiefer. A risk that he has been afraid to do.

"I won't give up on you. This is the last string I got. I should make it last before she will slipped away from me again." -K
