Part 11

Third Person's POV

Kiefer just wanted to give up. He tells himself that he can't do it anymore. The pain in his heart is too much to carry. It's like he has been torn for years. He may be a jerk but he wanted to change for Alyssa but he was too late.

Too late to have the heart of his woman.

He flew back to Manila and continue to live despite seeing her desk empty beside his office. He kept his weeks so busy not wanting to go home and feel so alone. He made everything ready for her but he was left out and got rejected.

He bought their dream house. The house that they wanted to have. The design is exactly the same. From the color, furniture, shape, the rooms. It was all the same. It took him a month to look for a replica.

Alyssa was sitting in her desk. She got a job in Cebu because she got some help from Deanna Wong her colleague in Ateneo. It was her break time when she thought of what happened a few weeks ago. The pain she gave to her love is stinging her heart. She loves him but the love they've got is not healthy anymore. The more they want each other the more pain they get. It's not easy to forget what he had done. He gave her up easily and she doesn't want to feel it again. She doesn't want to make their kids feel unwanted by their own father.

Andre and Kelly is currently with Ysay. They were playing and roaming around the city when they finally went to Alyssa's pad in Cebu.

"Tito Ysay, I wanted to ask you something." -Kelly

"sure baby what is it?" -Ysay

"The guy we saw a few weeks ago, was he our father?" -Kelly

"Kelly?! Don't ask Tito Ysay about it. We shouldn't talk about this!" -Andre

"Well... kids I don't have the right to tell you those stuffs. I'll tell Aly about this so that she will tell you everything. I think she has the right to tell you the truth guys. So we will just wait for your mom so that you can talk about this stuff okay?" -Ysay

Ysay is on the phone talking to Alyssa about his talk with her kids.

"Babe, Andre and Kelly asked me about Kiefer. They got a hint that Kiefer is their dad. I think it is their right to know who is their father." - Y

"Babe, I can't. I'm afraid that they would get mad at me because of not telling them the truth." -A

"Babe, just try. They would understand you and your reason. They love you and they would not be mad at you because you were just protecting them." -Y

"I guess it's time to tell them. I would talk to them when I get home. And babe, thank you for being there for me ever since I got no one." -A

"Babe, it's all right. I told you that I did this because I love you. And I want you to be happy." -Y

"I know babe, I should probably go. I need to finish things early. By babe." -A

"Take care babe. I love you" -Y

"Uhhhmm... Bye.... babe." -A

Alyssa dropped the call. She can't say "I love you" to Ysay yet. She knew that she is still in love with Kiefer. But she knew her love was not right. She wants to give Ysay a chance to love her. He was will her the whole time and she thinks its time to move forward without Kiefer.

Alyssa got back to her work and without overthinking things.

Kiefer just got back from New York. He closed a deal with a huge investor who is based in New York. He dedicated his time doing his job and getting the deal closed. Now he closed the deal, he doesn't know what to next. When he was in his office alone, he got a call from his mom.

"KIEFER! Why didn't you tell me that Alyssa is back?! She was with you the whole time yet you didn't tell me about it. And she got kids too."- Mozzy

"Mom, she is not here with me anymore. She left the company. Yeah, she got kids too." -K

"Are you the father of her kids?" -Mozzy

"Yes mom but I she told me that I got no right because of what i did to her. She told me not to bother them anymore. I hurt her so much to the extent that she wanted me out of their lives." -K

"Manong, I saw you in pain for years. I guess it's about time that you should fight for your place in their lives. Fight for her and fight for your kids. Its not easy to do but don't give up. Try not to give up just because of what she had said. She had many struggles before but now you are here. You should be try to save what you have. You have kids and they need their father. They are all growing up and they need their father for guidance." -Mozzy

"I'm trying to fix myself ma. I want to face them when I am ready to take them with me. I want my kids to say that their father is a better man. I want Aly to take me as a better partner that would not leaver her behind when times get rough." -K
