Riley POV -
I'm sat in the juice bar with James right now and we're just waiting Luther Brown to get to the studio and I'm so excited!
James POV -
I'm so excited right now because Luther Brown is going to be coming to the studio to help us! He helped us before with the National small group and we got to Michelle's solo because of that - Michelle!
James let out a chuckle, that Nationals A troupe was almost a distant memory. The studio had changed so much during the time from then then to Multinationals. "You know, What happened to Michelle?" James asked, "I mean she didn't audition for the Multinationals team"
Riley POV -
After Michelle went to England in the run up to internationals this year. She came back to the studio like a week before they left to the competition - I see her around but not at the studio anymore, I guess to left.
"... What made you think of Michelle?" Riley asked, "I was thinking about Luther and how he helped us with the National small group which was before the Female solo round that time" James explained, "Great Memories. Where is Luther? He isn't here!" Riley sighed.
Riley POV -
Time is ticking, I mean come on Luther -
We have a Multinational competition to prepare for!
"You know What, Let's just got back to the studio and come back in a bit" James suggested, getting up from the seat, taking Rileys hand and walking to the exit, "I just hope he gets here soon!"
The Next Step - Studio A
"And Remember when you flex your arm, put power into it but no so much that your arm locks - we don't want that on the Multinational stage!" a familiar but distant voice came from the studio, it seems Luther had already made his way to the studio, much to James and Rileys surprise.
Riley POV -
So James and I get to the studio and Luther is already in here talking to Eldon and some of the other dancers on A troupe! So that was just a compete waste of time.. Although I am supposed to be taking James out of a date. Does that count?
"Finally, the team is all here!" He said, as if he could sense James and Riley entering the room. "Let's get our game face on and come up with some great routines!" He seemed ready to go which was good, "So as you know there is 6 rounds
Sophia POV -
Group Dance 1
Group Dance 2
Male Trio
Female trio
Semi finals
Finals
"... Now as each round is held a few days apart in a different country. We should make the group Dances strongest because at the end of group dance 2 the public will vote for the 80 teams they want to compete in the next country/round"
Luther Brown (Guest Choreographer) POV -
Working on the 2 group dances is going to be a priority because if the studio doesn't get voted in for the other rounds then the other routines would be a waste of time and I really want this team to succeed.
"excuse me, I mean I'm sure that is a great idea but I'm just thinking of the other dancers on A troupe?" Emily came forward, "I mean There is quite a lot of Jazz dancers, Contemporary dancers, and Ballet dancers" She continued, now some of the other dancers were agreeing too.
"Yeah actually - I can so not dance hip hop or break dance" Amanda said.
Amanda POV -
Emily does bring up a good point actually, not all of us can dance hip hop or break dance and as Luther is a hip hop dancer, it needed to be said.
"Okay, alright then. You have until 3 o clock today to put forward one dancer of a different style, then we'll do a fusion of that dancers style and Luther said, most of the dancers seemed to be okay with this. "So who's it going to be?" he asked,Emily was the first to step forward.
Emily POV -
I step forward because I want to do what is best for the team! I'm representing the dancers that many not have hip hop or break dance as their dominant style.
"Okay then, Emily you'll be helping with the Group 1 and 2 dances!" Luther said, starting to stretch his arms and legs ready to get going with the Choreography. "So let's all get stretching and then we can get cracking!"
Piper POV -
I'm so excited right now! Let's do this!
Carmine POV -
Meeting Luther Brown has been the highlight of social calendar! Our studio has a great chance of success at Multinationals now thanks to him.
"Alright, So boys come over to the left and the girls come over to where Emily is" He instructed, Emily began to go over her Choreography as Luther did the same, she liked teaching the routines - it took her back to her days as dance captain. "So go 1,2,3,4 5,6,7,8 and Turn jump and to the floor!" She marked slowly.
Across the studio, Luther was going the same with the boys, "Go 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and Flex, Pop, pop, pop!"
Miss Kate POV -
I'm entering the studio and I'm so proud, looking at the team all working well together! I finaly know that we will do great at Multinationals!
Next time - A troupe receives its first set of costumes for Multinationals.
