The Next Step ~ Multinationals (Season 6.5)

I'm So Excited!

Riley POV -
I'm walking into the studio today with James and I'm so excited! The competition is so close right now and I can't wait to get their and win! It's been ages since I actually performed on a big stage somewhere In another country so this is going to be great!

They were already running late as it was and James wasn't helping. ".... And coleslaw" Riley waited impatiently as her boyfriend waited for his Shawarma to be ready. "Can we please go now? We're already late as it is and Miss Kate isn't going to be happy with us"

He turned back to her, already tucking into the piping hot Shawarma. "Alright, I'm ready let's... Hey aurnt Kathey!" he called out, stopping her in the street. "Jimi and Riley! Hi, Hello, Guten tag, Cioa, Kon'nichiwa! How are you doing today?" She asked in her usual Cookie way.

"I'm doing great, Where's aurther?" James asked, he knew that talking for longer would annoy Riley. "Y'know, driving. Out teaching the kids of tomorrow to drive safe" She answered, "I'm great too, by the way" Riley said, third wheeling on the conversation. "So what are you doing here?" She asked.

"Where Just on our way to rehearsals for Multinationals that are coming up in about a week and we're late" Riley answered. "Oh Jimi - You want a lift? Huh, Hmmmm? I'll call aurther. He'll give you kids a lift....

Riley POV -
This is going to be a.... Long.... Day!

The Next Step - Studio A

"Okay 1,2,3,4,5,7,8 & 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.....

Miss Kate POV -
Right now, we're just practicing the Finals group 2 dance that comes before the public vote but the spacing is really off today. We're missing both James and Riley so that is quite annoying.

"Okay that's great. We just need to figure out the spacing but we can do that once James and Riley get here... Does anyone know where they are?" She asked, primarily asking Emily as she was her sister. The Blonde dancer shook her head, "We left at the same time but she was waiting for James to walk so I'm not sure....

Emily POV -
You think that James would come pick us both up seeing that he can drive. 

"You know what, I'll go call her... She can't be that far away now" Emily said, heading over to the cuby area and removing her mobile phone. Kate turned back to the rest of A troupe, "Okay can we rehearse the male trio but Eldon could you dance in James' spot so Ollie could do the contemporary? Thanks" She said, Ollie put down the final costume that he was working on down on the seat.

Ollie POV -
I'm actually happy that James is late today. Because every time we are not doing a group dance rehearsal, I'm finishing the costumes so i just had a great dance and now I can put the needle and thread down for another few minutes and dance in the male trio for Kate.

"Okay from the top....

The Park

"... So yes jimi then I told him... I told him that I didn't try to boil the egg in the toaster and that he should get the spatula and clean it out himself!" Kathey was in the middle of telling James one of her strange stories. "Oh no! So what happened?"  James asked, interested to find out what happened next. "Well here's the thing....

Riley POV -
I've Just come off the phone to Emily and she says Kate does not sound happy. I need to move this along...

Riley put her phone away, and turned to her boyfriend in tears. Panting and rubbing her eyes," Babe what's wrong?" James asked, giving his girlfriend a tight hug, "That was Miss Kate....." She hyperventilated strongly, trying to hold her laugh in. "She's going to kick us both of the Multinational team....if we don't get to the studio soon!"

Riley POV -
Maybe I'm better at drama than I thought. I wish I had taken it in my exams at school now.

James POV -
Oh dear, that's awful! Rileys attempt to speed this up is just awful, Kate would never replace two dancers like a week before the competition. She's lying to me.
I need to get her back for this.

"Oh well, maybe that isn't a bad idea? I mean don't get me wrong but I've been thinking for a while now that someone else could have my spot...?"James said back to her. Riley immediately looked up at him.

Riley POV -
What?!?

"James are you serious! What are you talking about this could be our last chance to go to a competition like this and I really think you should..." Her rant was shut down early as James began to laugh. "I'm joking but your right, I think we should get going to the studio"

Riley POV -
Yes James, I think we should.

The Next Step - Studio A

"Guys that was amazing! You know what? I think we're done for today" Kate yelled, telling the dancers what they all secretly wanted to here, "DONE!" Ollie exclaimed, "I've finished the Costumes finally!" he got up triumphantly and began to do some pirouettes.

Ollie POV -
Finally I can put the needle away and stop stabbing my fingers by accident.

Miss Kate POV -
James and Riley didn't make the rehearsal today, it's up to them to catch up now...

Next time - A troupe heads to the First County in order to compete in the first group dance - Will James and Riley destroy the dance because of the lack of rehearsal.
