The days passed by slowly, and the school day was steadily coming to an end. It was only a few more weeks until graduation; baekhyun was leaving for college while jongdae was going on to senior year.
To say jongdae was upset was an understatement. He would miss the older, even if they promise to see each other everyday after school, things will be different.
Chen's face could clearly describe his thoughts because as soon as baekhyun noticed, he wrapped an arm around his boyfriends waist and pulled him closer.

Chen scrunched up his nose in disgust. Call me baby one more time... baek laughed before apologising softly.
Chen sighed and leaned more into baekhyun's warm cuddle, thinking about their future together.

Baekhyun rolled his eyes before softly planting a short kiss on Chen's lips. Chen... I promise that won't happen. I care for you too much to ever hurt you. Are you seriously doubting me??
Chen stared at his boyfriend's hurt face. Baekhyun I'm sorry, I just.... I'm scared to loose my happiness.
Baekhyun smiled softly before pulling the two back on the couch, and resuming their cuddle session. I like seeing you worry about the most stupidest things love.
Chen chuckled before letting his mind travel somewhere else.
Baekhyun... do you ever think about... the future?
Baekhyun hummed at the question. Of course I just did like one minute ago. Chen shook his head
No I mean... like the future that includes me. Baekhyun glanced at Chen who couldn't stop chewing on his bottom lip.
I... don't know. Maybe from time to time. Do you? Chen nod

Baekhyun smiled, as he felt his chest warming up. You're so cute. But Chen we shouldn't worry about this. I honestly don't know what's going to happen, would I like for us to happen in the future? Absolutely. Is it a guarantee ? No. but I guarantee..... and promise we'll try.
Chen could feel his eyes water. Almost a whole year with this goof ball who turned out to be his source of happiness, made him all mushy and emotional.
Good. Oh and baek one more thing.
