LunaPOV.:

(F*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck, F*CK!!!)

I was swimming away from the mob of mermen.

"DADDY!!!" I yelled as I swam into my house, slamming the door close and locking it.

"Luna?" I heard him ask.

"Front door. Just got attacked by a bunch of mermen." I gasped.

"They sure have good timing now don't they..." I heard mom sigh.

"Well, Luna..." He emerged from the kitchen. His navy blue tail shinned slightly under the glow-stone we had put up. "We're moving."

I froze.

"Moving? Where?"

"To the California bay. We're going to put you in a human school. Hopefully you should be safe until you find your lover." He smiled.

"Bu- but Dash!" I was freaking out slightly. "What if I get wet and they see me?"

"You won't, don't worry." Mom smiled.

I wasn't worried about that. I was scarred. I have to go to the surface. I'll have to shift everyday. Mom said that it hurts like f*ck.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine. Leanna goes to that school with Forest." She smiled.

"I'm just scared. I've never shifted before." I whispered.

"Don't worry honey, you'll be fine. Just take deep breaths when you shift." I nodded. "We already packed. We leave tomorrow. And we have a house next to Leanna's family's house. It's in a private beach." She smiled.

"Okay." I swam up to my small bedroom.

(I'll miss this place, but I'll miss Dashie the most.)

Ch.1

LunaPOV.:

We finally reached the California bay.

"Leanna is up there waiting for us with some towels, okay?" Mom looked at me, her aqua eyes sparkling slightly.

"Kay," I swam to the surface.

Noticing the silhouette of Leanna, I swam to shore.

"Hey ya cousin," She said in a random accent.

"Hey Lea," I giggle as dad got on the shore, glaring one of the many towels Leanna was holding. "Where's Forest?"

She giggled. "Out with his lover."

I gasped dramatically. "He has a lover and he never told me?! That sea bass!"

Dad grabbed mom and pulled her out of the sea, drying her quickly with another towel. She was hissing in pain, but dad was holding her hand, and it appeared to distract her slightly.

"I wish I found my lover," I sighed.

"Oh! I forgot to tell you, I found mine!" Leanna squealed.

"Ohh!!! What's his name? What is he?" I asked her as dad pulled me out of the water.

"His name is Flynn. He's a Vamp, but he's a 'vegan'." She blushed slightly at the thought of him.

"Ow!" I hiss as I felt the pain on my tail. It was as if it was being cut in half with a knife, very very slowly.

"Deep breaths Luna." Mom said, holding my hand.

"I am." I hiss, taking many deep breaths.

"It's over," Leanna passed me a small dress.

"Thanks." I try to get up, but I couldn't move my legs. "Um... Help?"

"You're legs might be numbed for a while, since this is your first shift." Dad said in a 'duh' tone when he suddenly carried me into the house.

"Oh," I felt my cheeks burn in embarrassment.

I was set down on a flat area that was supper soft. A bed.

"I bought you some clothes, I'll help you with anything and everything, and so will Forest." Leanna chirped, laying besides me.

"Okay." I said, looking at my legs in awe. "What's the function of these?" I poked the finger like things at the end of my legs."

Leanna frowned. "I actually don't know..."
