Today was cheerful
Today was exciting
I forgot how to be fearful
It was all so inviting
Laughter filled my ears
Sighs of content were all that appeared
Fun and games
And no shame
Until I remembered that the closest humans to me
Forgot of my existence
Even if it was just for today
I felt it more no matter how strong the resistance
