Poetic Freedom

The shadows that once lingered in my mind at the time that was the only place that they could hide
Locked inside a vault
Where all my possessions were at fault
The key safely kept away
Out of sight, only seen by default
Some day dreams were left astray
Tucked away till the end of May

But maybe there was another way
Where they could freely stay
Not in chains not in pain
Spread on paper where you could easily see its remains
Let it be, for the ones who see
Want a share of the poetic wisdom

It creates an anthem this poetic freedom
