HDN: Gameindustri's Wild Card

Chapter 1: In dire need.

No longer was Minato in the Velvet room, he opened his eyes and found himself in an unfamiliar forest and he confirmed it as he felt the blades of green grass on his skin.

"....By going to 'Gameindustri' I just have to start in this forest." He muttered as he stood up and explored the forest.

He was listening to some tunes in his headset that he set in a volume that he can hear the songs, and in case enemies. 

Curious on what time it is, he reached for his phone and checked the time.

It was 2:30 pm

Satisfied. he put the phone in his pocket and proceeds until he heard something rustling in the bushes. He took a fighting stance and equipped a persona in the forefront of his mind.

Abbadon: with him, he can take much more punishment and he his hardened to near impervious durability.

A slightly sadistic smile came to his face, then again he was a little bit crazy, but that is a story for another time.

His opponent came and hit him square in the head and knocked him to the ground. He looked at the creature and found an odd sight.

It is a blue slime in a tear-drop shape and dog like features.

It was cradled in his arms and was whimpering, the boy inspected it and found a gash in it's tail. Feeling sorry for it, he patted it's head and it responded by happily wagging it's tail.

He was visibly startled by the menu that appeared and curiously inspected it, it is telling him that Minato should give a name for the slime/dog hybrid.

Then a memory briefly flashed of him with a certain shiba inu pup he was walking.

He then pressed the buttons on the menu's buttons to name the slime/dog hybrid.

K-o-r-o-m-a-r-u he entered and pressed enter.

[Is "Koromaru" your pet's name?]

[{Yes} {No}]

he pressed {Yes} and after a few moments of initializing, he received another menu 

[Congratulations! You have tamed a Dogoo.]

'Dogoo? So that's it's name.' Minato thought to himself as he looked at his new pet who was liking the name "Koromaru".

"Well Koromaru. Hope we get along." He said to his newfound which responded by hopping to his shoulder and strolls along the forest.

"Something wrong Histoire?" A girl asked the tome, concerned for her well being.

"I am well IF, I felt an fluctuation of power of an irregularity in Virtua forest."

"You lost me Histoire." IF responded along with a visual sweat drop at the end of it.

"What i was trying to say IF is" the tome began. "I felt something that is otherworldly at the forest. And it is something powerful."

"How powerful are we talking about Histoire?"  IF asked with concern.

"I don't know how powerful it is, but it will hurt me to say this. Nepgear and the CPUs rescue will have to wait, investigating the power flux from Virtua forest is now our biggest concern." she said in authorative voice.
