Chapter 10: Nightmares from the Past.

Minato stared in fear and awe as he stares at the beast once again.

He looked at it's dead's body, but the biggest problem is how it attacked him. It's head is basically sliced in half and it still attacked him.

Then to add to his horror; the sliced halves of the head grew teeth and the eyes situate to right side. Making the head crocodilian as it reforms.

Spikes grew from the back of it's head as if it us growing hair, the mangled appendages turns into big and buffy arms, and a scorpion tail to top off it's transformation.

"Oh sh!t...." Nitro muttered as she looks at the beast.

The monster roared, tentacles flying out of it's mouth and attacks them by using the tail.

They quickly disperse from the impact, and Minato uses an ice spell to freeze the impacted tail into solid ice. To which Nitroplus quickly destroys by using a baseball swing with her large katana.

"IT" cried in pain from the attack, and is then subdued by the attacks as it is cleaved and stabbed as it is sent down to the floor to recieve it.

And the foul beast is now put down with one swift slash at the head by God Eater. The only thing left from the beast is it's corpse that is littered with cuts and stab wounds by them.

Minato became uneasy just by looking at it, and the sight of it made him think about this creature that he doesn't want to point out.

And that this isn't the last time he is going to see this monster...

"Ugh...... What happened?" IF moaned as she stumbles out of thw wrecked crates and storage bins.

Minato watched as he sees the girls tend to her. Only adding to his confusion as she was almost crazy to killing this creature, and to the next moment. She is just there having a hangover.

Speaking of monster. Minato looked back to the dead beast and much to his horror. The corpse is nowhere to be seen, and no signs of it are any where to be seen.

Of course he knew that monsters turn into pixels when they die, but that doesn't seem to be the case since it will leave behind something to take.

It was only time that he just decided to call it a day and went to a diner to get something to eat. Luckily, the girls had the same idea and follows him like ducklings.

At the diner. Minato was there at a table with the girls waiting for the food, but he felt that the eyes of other customers are invasive as he swore he heard someone saying he's a "Ladies Man".

He groaned inwardly from that intonation.

"IF... Do we have a lead on where Histoire is?" He whispered to her so he can pay attention to something else.

Fortunately for him. IF showed him positive results and that the hunt for her is proving to be fruitful.

"Pretty good so far." She said. "But we still have problems pinpointing her exact location..."

Minato became relieved by that, but the problem now is where she is.

"How did you know?" He asked...

Her only response was nothing more but smirking and reclining at her seat, and waved at the air as if she is waiting for something.

And what happened was is the sound of chimes ringing and a man entered being escorted by Purple Heart herself.

"Say hello to Garfield Cobblepot, and he will tell you everything you need to know." IF remarked with a smirk as she closes her eyes.

Minato only shrugged and looked at the man.
