"Paris, here are the latest reports you had requested me for revision." A pile of reports added on her desk. Again.

"Just - please place it on the desk. I'll be checking that one later after I finished this."Her coworker arranged the pile in order making it more organized. Paris, on the other hand, didn't even budge to stop what she is doing.

"I am getting worried already, Paris. You are doing this for 3 days already," Marinette's voice sounded concerned.

She knew everyone is worried. She knew everyone cared for the welfare of others. She heard her but she didn't know how to react. Everyone knew that the final reports are on the near deadlines and they needed to finish them as soon as possible. It is important to her as much as to them.

"I know, Mari. I'm sorry to make you all worried but you all know how this is important to me." A hint of despair could be heard. Paris had never disappoint anyone especially her father who was expecting a lot from her. As the next CEO of an estate agency, she needed to prove her father that she deserves the position but pressure and stress are building up.

Marinette tap her shoulder. "I do understand and I do know you don't want to disappoint your parents. Please don't forget to take a rest dear." Paris gave her a nod and smiled at her. Marinette went back to her desk and begun fixing her papers.

Paris sensed that some of her officemates begun to fix their table and went home. Some also went to her to bid goodbye. She hadn't notice the time and it was near evening. It is Friday night and people were rushing in the streets for them to go home as soon as possible but not for Paris. She needed to finish her report right now so that she will have a weekend rest and prepare for her documentation.

Paris stretched her arms before continuing to work. She looked around and noticed that there were few employees left. It seemed that most of them are excited to end this tiresome week. She fixed her dark brown hair and made it to high bun. She wouldn't want her hair messing her up while she's at work and she doesn't need to be presentable right now since it is passed office time.

Getting the last pile of reports, hoping the last one she would work on, she skimmed through the papers and felt relieved that it have less revising to work at. She really appreciates her coworkers for working hard with her and being patient with her. She became a temperamental and a grumpy person lately, must be the stress triggering it. She is a bubbly person, in fact, and could annoy you to hell with her childish actions. And she loved annoying people.

Paris was completely taken aback when somebody snapped his fingers in front of her. She looked up and saw Marco grinning at her with a snack box in his hands.

"Hey." Marco gave her gentle pat in her head and handed to her the box. "I heard you didn't have your lunch again. So I brought you a snack."

"You know, you shouldn't have bothered. But thanks anyway." She opened the box and saw her favorite donuts. Marco really knows her likes and dislikes. She got one and took a bite from it. Chocolates are definitely her thing but ice cream is her guilty pleasure.

"You want one?" She offered him. He shook his head and took a seat next to her.

"You wouldn't want to fill yourself with these sweets. I was planning on taking you to dinner." She faced him and assessed if he was joking or not. She found no hint of joke.

"You can't take me to dinner Marco. You obviously see these reports." Pointing to her reports, Marco grabbed some of it and checked it.

"Why not? I'm willing to wait." He grinned. "And to wait means to help you with this."

Marco got up and went to his desk with some reports in his hands. She is grateful indeed to have Marco with him at her side. Though Marco was years ahead of her in the industry and was rooting for the executive position, he completely understood her situation. He wasn't on the rush, as what he said and he will be supporting her until she reach the executive position.
