Three days have passed and she hadn't even met Dave Samuels yet.

It was still unbelievable on Paris' part to think that Marco is her fiancé's brother and if the wedding goes on, he will be her brother-in-law.

What if the table had turned upside down? What if he was Dave Samuels all along?

Paris had thought about that. First, she would really feel betrayed and being played at. He had fooled her for a long time and ending, he knew from the start that they were to be wed. Second, she would be embarrassed. She told him everything she ever felt about her parents, herself and even on the engagement. She even confessed to him that she had liked him and now, she liked his friend, Isaiah. Lastly, she did not know if she would still have feelings for him and would pursue the engagement.

That is why for somehow, she was relieved and grateful that he wasn't Dave Samuels. Not that she despise Marco now but she doesn't feel being wed to him at all. She does not fell anything to him anymore.

Waiting for her parents to call her, Paris was at her office finishing her reports and as well the preparations on her engagement. When she checked her phone, there as unread message from Marco.

He wants to meet you on the harbor. Right now.

Paris did not know if the message was urgent or not, but automatically she fixed her things and decided to go there at once. The message told her to go there at once. She did not know who wanted to meet her, might be an investor or his dad. And knowing Marco, he would not play pranks on her.

Paris immediately took a cab to the harbor. There wasn't many people on the harbor but it was still hard for Paris to distinguish who's really looking for her and who wanted to meet her. She saw an unoccupied cottage and sat there, hopefully, the person who wanted to meet her would notice her.

Few minutes have passed and nobody even dared to talk to her. Well, there were people who greeted her but just went along their paths. She was about to contact Marco to clarify if there's really someone who wanted to meet her. But then a pine of Roskilly's appeared in front of her.

Someone actually handed it to her. Paris looked up to see the person that handed her the ice cream. If she was living in a dream, she does not like this dream, it was like it was mocking her.

Isaiah Thompson was in Cornwall.

Isaiah Thompson was here in front of her.

In flesh. Facing her with a smile and handing her a pine of chocolate ice cream. What is he doing here? How did he know she was living in Cornwall? Oh right, Marco!

What is his intention in coming here? Does he know that she is already engage to someone?

"Isaiah," she said his name that sounded more like her breath.

"Hey pumpkin," he replied to her as he sat beside her. "How are you?"

Paris was completely speechless. She was still absorbing the fact that Isaiah's here. Beside her. She then realized that she had missed him so much and sadly, she had feelings for him.

"I did not know I still have that effect on you, pumpkin," he jest without looking at her.

Paris smirked at his note, and just pulled a half shrug. "I did not know as well that you have that kind of effect."

This time, he faced her looking bewildered.

"Really? Then why are you gaping at me?" he asked.
