If one dared to ask a certain question, be it a simple or complicated, one must be ready to accept its answers and be ready to handle them.

Paris, on the other side of the table, was not sure how to address the sudden and truthful confession of Marco. Was he really serious when he said that he knew Dave Samuels more than his life? What did he mean by that?

"You - you're - you're joking, aren't you?" Paris was now stuttering in front of him, pushing every word she could think out of her mouth.

"What do you think?" Marco asked her in a playful way.

"I have no time to play some of your tricks, Marco," she snapped at him.

If there is one thing that can trigger Paris to be crossed in a very instant, it would be by not answering her question immediately and mock her as well.

"I am not jesting you, princess," Marco defended himself, "And besides, do not be crossed about him. Once you will be wed with him, you'll get the chance to met him and know him more than I am."

This! This is the reason why she wanted to throw Marco right now at the top of the building. Too bad they only have 3 storey building. She would gladly drop him effortlessly if it were a bit higher.

"Fine. I won't argue anymore with you, smartass. So, how did you know him?"

"Sorry princess, but I won't spill the fun."

"I hate you," she spatted.

Marco laughed at her spat and shook his because of her childish act.

"How's Paris?" he asked changing the topic.

With a split of a second, Paris facial expression changed from annoyed to excitement.

"You won't believe what I had been through there," Paris said to him with a beaming smile.

This would be a long story to hear. And Marco have all his ears for her.

"My stomach was really wild and ... and was really grumbling when I had arrived,"
Paris announced to him animatedly, "You know that I do not know how to speak French. I was trembling and thinking really hard what to speak."

"I was hoping you have not embarrassed yourself to much," he said, feeling agitated by Paris' stories.

Paris laughed and waved her hand dismissively.

"No! I wouldn't dare!" she said, "It would be too much for me to handle embarrassment on the first day."

"Very well, why don't you proceed?" He motioned her to go on on her narration.

Paris generously shared her experiences and tours in Paris. From her arrival up to her departure. Details by details. However there were some scenes she had omitted such as their pretense with Isaiah and the smooching moments with him. She would definitely omit that. What would Marco's response if he had known that? He might think low of her.

Yet, she thought, Marco is not the type of guy who have thoughts like that. He would understand her if she honestly tell him, bit by bit.

There is no other time for her to tell him except now, he might help her how to address it or mock her, in some ways.

"I am really thankful that I have you, Marco," she uttered, reaching out to hold his hand and smiled at him. "For supporting me in my crazy travel. And for ... thank you for agreeing to let me met Isaiah."

Marco agreeably nodded to her in reply. Even though he did nothing but lend her a place to stay, yet it seemed he had helped her in everything.

"I should thank Isaiah too," she quickly added, "Though I do not know how but if you can contact him, can you please tell him thanks?"
