My Throne

Eric's P.o.V.

I was sitting in my chair in my office when she came home . She walked in and bowed and sat across from me . I rolled my eyes at her and took a swig of the blood on the table . I looked at her and saw the glow of her skin . She looked like one of them . She smelled like the Sun .

"You submitted to them. Broke our bond " I said . She nodded, but looked me in my eyes ungrateful. "Speak"

"I did . It was not on purpose " she said . "But I support the decision "

"So why did you come back . " I spat .

"I'm going to become Queen of Louisiana " she said . I turned in my chair , unable to look at her . I know what she came here for . Unfortunately for her , I will not do it .

"Are you releasing from my title ?" I asked her . I turned to look her in her eyes . She shook her head . "Do you want me to quit " she shook her head .
"Speak Damn It" I shouted at her and she flinched .

"Jidenna wants your loyalty" she said . "She wants you to be there tonight as my maker , as I become Queen in front of the AVA."

"And if I refuse " I asked .

"I didn't ask that , you won't refuse " she said . I looked at her and at myself. She seemed to have a green and gold floor length dress painted onto her . She stood and grabbed a hanger from behind the door .

"Wear this " she said . I stood and went upstairs. I texted Bill for them to get by the house and trail us to the ceremony . Think of a plan . I took a shower , cleaned myself up and walked out in a white tux. She smiled and lead me to the car . We got in and she just starred at me in silence the whole way .

"And I thought Jidenna wanted me to be King" I looked at her . "Or did you suggest yourself ?" I asked .

"He chose me when you said no " she said .

"You let him change you " I growled at her .

"You let them change me " she shot back . "Only you could send me to them. Pass me off like some Common Nymph "

"You are common" I said . She lunged at me and smacked her like fly. She fell against the side seat of the limo and growled at me . "As your maker , I command you to never lay a hand on me again " . She sits up and put her hands in her lap .

"Release me Eric" she said . And there it was , what she really came for . She didn't want me to be able to control her anymore . But that was the only way I could keep myself and her alive .

"No" I said . "Do not ask again "

Jidenna's P.o.V.

We redecorated Sophie Ann's house to a more modern theme and got it ready for Naan Flanagan and the AVA .

"She is a good choice" Avan said as we walked through the house . "She is everything "

"Why are you still here Avan " I asked simply . "You are suppose to be schmoozing Russel Edgington into our alliance and yet , you are here with me , sharing my Nymph " I said .

"Excuse me , why do you think you and your Nymph can walk in the sun , we are all bound , you have my power " he said . "Now we will take over with a new type of Vampire , a real Elite. Is that not what we wanted "

"We want to rule , this Elite system is your plan " I said .

"Then let me do me " he rolled his eyes . "I'm not going to take Olivia from you . She is yours . "

He walked away and I continued to wait in the ball room until Olivia arrived . She smiled at me as she walked in and Eric followed behind with a disgusted look on his face . She looked around the room in awe and smiled at me .

"You redecorated " she smiled .

"This will be your new home " I said . She smiled at me and nodded . As she stood straight , Naan walked in and Olivia stood by my side I greeted her .

"Naan" I smiled at her . "How are you "

"Jidenna , I can't deal with your cuteness today . So , Olivia , Eric is letting you spread your wings and fly . " Naan teased . Olivia nodded and smiled . Eric gave a smug smile , standing behind Olivia . "Well let's get this over with shall we" and with that , a man handed Naan a book and Olivia laid her hand on top .

"Olivia , you have been choosen as the new Queen of Louisiana and to protect this state before any other and follow AVA guidelines to keep the vampires safe and protected . Do you agree " she said .

"I do " Olivia agrees and nods enthusiastically.

"And it is so , you Olivia are now Queen of Louisiana " she hands the book back to the body guard behind her and bows at Olivia's feet. "Well , we must be in Japan for an interview in the morning . We'll be in contact " she said and turned on her heels back out the door . Avan looked at Eric and smiled and admiration .

"Eric" he said . "Please , hang with us tonight . We must celebrate the new rule"

"Okay" he said and Olivia looks at him and back at us .

This is a short chapter to set the stage for the next chapter ... which will be out this week 😁
