My Doubt

Olivia's P.o.V.

Avan and Eric held an odd air about each other as we sat in the limo together . Eric starred at me and Avan out the window as we rode to Fangtasia .

"Have you told Pam we are coming " I said . Eric raised an eyebrow at me .

"Well Sire , do I have to call you when I'm on my way ?" He asked smugly . I rolled my eyes and he laughed smirked at me . Knowing he was being annoying . If there was any face I did hate on Eric , it was his smug one . Avan looked at us .

"Do you always bicker like this " Avan asked . Eric looked at him and patted his leg .

"We are fine" Eric said . "You will like Fangtasia. " He looks at him . "It is a lot of fun "

"Well I hope so " Avan says . "I'm sure it will be great . Do you know when Jidenna will show up " he looks at me . I shrugged and looked forward out the window . We arrived at Fangtasia . As I looked outside , I got the strangest feeling. It still felt like home .I still felt Eric . He walked Avan inside and I followed behind and looked around as I walked it . It was redecorated . I looked at him as he gave Avan a tour , leaving me to stare blankly from the door . Ginger came out of the kitchen and starred at me and Eric and then her watch .

"Eric how are you ?" She asked .

"Night fall is coming, get Pam up " he said .

"What is this for Eric ?" I asked .

"Your party " he said . "You've become Queen " he said . "We must celebrate , why must it not be here in your home District " he smiled .

"Ah , a party " Avan said looking at Eric . "Jidenna better hurry "

"I got us outfits actually , I'll finish giving you the tour and we will retire home to get dressed . " Eric explained . Avan smiled at him and he smiled back and looked at me . Pam came from downstairs in an a black outfit .

"Pam, please show Avan our feeding Quarters while I discuss final arrangements with Olivia " he said . "Avan this is my most loyal Sire Pam . She'll show you wher you can eat before we dress , we'll meet you there "

"Follow me , sir " Pam said raising and eyebrow and Avan returned the gesture and they began up the stairs . I looked at Eric and he slammed me against the wall, we stood chest to chest .

"Why do you think I have no dominion over you " he asked .

"I gave myself to Jidenna and Avan " I said . He placed his hand at my crotch immediately . I didn't want to get wet , but I did .

"Your Nymphly genes , sure , Jidenna has that , but I have Avan " he said . "And you forget. I'm your maker , and I will never release you " , he said in my ear . I moaned and he released me . "Now , Calm Jidenna down , or I will destroy him "

He walked away, to where Avan resided and I got myself together . Pam came down the stairs and was starring at me .

"What !" I said .

"Woah , the one who barely spoke , now yells " she rolls her eyes . "Oh excuse me , your highness " she said as she curtsied and rolls her eyes .

"Pam stop " I said .

"Stop what " she asked with mock innocence.

"You don't know Jidenna " I said . "I do"

"I'm sure " she said . " But not as long as Eric " she walked back to the back and I rolled my eyes . Jidenna came through the doors not to long later .

"Did you raise her " I asked . He shook his head .

"Avan kept calling , and I need to be sure about Avan and Eric , because once Akasha and Enkil are raised, there will be no Avan " he explained .

"Why do you say that ?" I ask .

"Avan was Enkils competition, so he will destroy him " he said .

"What about Akasha " I asked .

"She will follow her King " he said . "He is her maker " .I nodded thinking of what he said . This plan was faulty . Jidenna taken sides with Avan although Akasha loved him , he helped in her enslavement. Jidenna could be destroyed as well , that is why he didn't raise them . I needed someone who could protect me . If Akasha was risen , it could compromise my throne . And I couldn't . I had become Queen . And I realized what I needed to do . I allowed Jidenna to take seats with Avan and I took his side .

Eric, Avan and Pam who were sitting on the couch, looked at us .

"I believe you were suppose to be bringing me a new Flask , Jidenna " Avan began and Jidenna smiled at him.

"You mean this one " he pulls it oUt of his pocket with blood so dark it was a deep purple . And I linked eyes with Eric . Eric and I always understood when we needed a gut check to remember who we were . And I needed to initiate another one of those moments .

"Come with me" he said standing . Jidenna stood and Avan took his attention and sat him back down .

"Give them their time " he said . "We must speak " . Eric and I went out the door and to his office . As soon as we walked in, he leans against the desk as I shut the door . "What , Olivia"

"Eric , what's the plan ?" I asked . He raised an eye brow .

"There is no plan Olivia " he said . "We submitted to them , you are Queen of Louisiana " he said .

"We can't keep them around though" i said . "They are ticking time bombs, I cannot be Queen ". He rolled his eyes at me .

"You are trying out to bow out and come back to my side ?" He asked . "What's going on with Jidenna "

I approached him and leaned my body against his . He sighed and I looked up at him .

"Jidenna is starting to keep secrets " I said . "I don't know why". He shook his head and pulled me close .

"What's his secret then ?" He asked . I bit my lip and he stood , his face quickly churning into anger . "How do you expect me to help with no information . You can't be loyal to both sides in this war love " he shakes his head and walks out of the office .

I needed my own Ally. I  nodded at myself in the empty office and I hated to go to the most extreme but this seemed necessary. I made my way back to where I used to do my best hunting . Post Road. It was a street of strip clubs, night clubs , motels and hookers . 6 blocks from Fangtasia . As I turned on the street it buzzed with life . I walked peering at the drunken people club hopping and walking the street . I did a full four rotations around the street till I found exactly the type of person I was looking for . She sulked the street alone . Her aura was reeking for some excitement. She walked behind her friends somewhat unimpressed behind them . I followed a few paces behind . I walked past her and stopped .

"Cute outfit , let me get you in this club " I said to her , taking her friends . I lead her behind turning my head so she couldn't explain her friends and walked passed the door , turning to her . I looked in her eyes and smiled .

"You're going to be great . I'm going to let you live forever " I said . She nodded in a trance and I lead her away . As we walked I grew in excitement . My first sire . She was going to be great .
