My Maker

Eric's P.o.V.

Avan was going to tell me what was going on . I noticed he was already high as I returned as he and Jidenna were laughing maniacally as Pam was raising an eyebrow . They were speaking another language . Avan looked at me .

"'Everything alright " he asked. I looked at him as Olivia approached and said she was going on a walk . I rolled my eyes at her melodrama and looked at Avan .

"We can talk in private later " I said .

He smiled and rose ."We can talk now" I nodded and lead him to my office and he sat on the couch .

"I am not used to my Sire having secrets " I said . "But something that Jidenna was going to do , has fallen through and she is changing " I explained . He looked at me and raised and eye brow .

"What did Olivia tell you ?" He asked . I looked at him .

"She didn't say much but she left because I know she is feeling betrayed I said .

"We must take a trip tomorrow , yes " he said . But it wasn't a question it was a statement . I nodded and noticed as he seemed to be trying to pull his composure together . I gave him his time , and we walked back out to Pam and Jidenna deep in conversation .

We all went back to my place and talked , waiting for Olivia to return .I felt the change undergoing in Olivia , and wondered if they felt it as well, there was something changing in her . I tried to identify the feeling. The night began pretty calm but as we got closer to daylight , Jidenna got restless . As the day breaks , Avan looses interest .

"Eric and I had some plans Jidenna , I'm sure she is just home . " Avan said .

"You will go back to New Orleans today ?" He asked .

"Yes we will " he said . " I will spend a little more time with Eric before he has to go back to his district for work "

"Let me know if Olivia is there " he said . Avan nodded and we walked out of the house and to the car . As we sat riding north instead of south for New Orleans , I remained quiet , attempted to remember the way we were riding . As we approached a small little hut the car stopped .

"Where are we ?" I asked . He looked at me .

"Just checking on my insurance policy . " he said and we got out the car . We walk into the small room and down flight of stairs to a shrine I did not expect .

I starred at the living statues . I heard the fair heart beats . I leaned forward and touched Queen . The smooth as porcelain and just was white . I looked over at King .
