All you could hear in the Gilbert house on that very night was the cries of the youngest Gilbert's. As they felt the awful pain Miranda and Grayson felt while they were drowning in the water underneath the Wickery Bridge.
Jenna Sommers, the sister of Miranda, didn't know what to do as she and Jeremy were left with the twins. As Jeremy held his little siblings Jenna gets a phone call at about 2:00 am in the night, or morning. As she hears the words the person on the other end say, her world comes crashing down.
"What's wrong aunt Jenna?" Jeremy asks, worried about his aunts sudden quietness. "It's your parents and Elena." She whispers horrified as she thought, her only sister died along with her brother-in-law. The only to survive the crash was Elena, a young sixteen year old girl.
Little did they know was that, the twins could feel exactly what everyone else was feeling. Elena; tiredness; Miranda and Grayson; Pain but numb; Jenna; Sadness; Jeremy; Anger and Sadness.
As the days went on, Jenna found out that John Gilbert would be taking the twins away to New York. As much as she tried, in the end John took Little Tommy and Abigail away from the Gilbert household, until the funeral, but even then he took them back.
Now 5 months later, right before Halloween, Tommy and Abigail are back because John just couldn't deal with the amount of crying they did. And when they come back Elena is with a blood sucking animal, quite literally, and Damon who wants to bring back Katerina Petrova, or better known as Katherine Pierce.
What happens when you add in just 2 year olds that could feel the pain of others in the mix.
