Katherine always believed that she was better than Frank.
Pride kept her sane.
This way she couldn't consider him as her savior; her knight, but as they drew closer to each other, she realized how he was stronger.
His thoughts were clearer. He knew what to do when the sky becomes dimmer. He spoke words wiser than hers, and calmed the storms in her.
He may not be as clever or as impressive as her, but he was the shoulder she longed for forever.
