" Come on pikachu, we're almost there!" A young raven haired boy exclaimed

" Pika pikachu " . A yellow electric mouse ran up to the boy racing ahead of him and hopped on his shoulder.

The two ran down the path receiving glances and brief bits of laughter by those who watched the enthusiastic duo.

As they turned a corner a voice suddenly rang in the young boy's head

Proceed with caution, chosen one

He then stopped in his tracks. 'Who was that?' He thought. " Hey pikachu, did you hear someone just now? " Pikachu just shook his head then gave a questioning look as to ask why. 'Oh it must have been my imagination'

I can sense that something will happen that won't and can't be predicted

" W-what? " He stammered , taking a few steps back in the process.

Pikachu gave his trainer a worried look " Pikapi? "

" U-uh, its nothing pikachu " the boy quickly replied. " I just thought that someone was talking to me " he glanced around taking in his surroundings, no one else was there except for them.

I do not know what, but something shall come that can only be of others thoughts and actions

" Pika pikachu chu pi? " Pikachu was worried for his best friend, he didn't know if the voice he was hearing was a threat or maybe, possibly a warning

The future is undecided, now you must choose what path you shall take and who walks beside you.

" I-I don't understand "

You are strong, remember that. There isn't much time left for me to talk

" Wait what do you mean? " The raven haired boy asked as he still looked around for the persons voice

I'll be there when you are in need of me, others will be there as well

'Others' He thought 'who are they and what do they mean others?'

Ash could only stand there, trying to process what was going on. He didn't come back to until the sound of Pikachu and his concern tone was enough to wake him up

" I.. Uh... Sorry pikachu, I guess I must have worried you, huh." Ash placed his hand on the back of his head and gave a faint laugh.

Pikachu stared at him for a few moments all before scolding him for scaring him like that

" Sorry, its just that I heard a voice telling me to be careful and that things can not be seen " He said. ' What ever that means '

" Pika! " Pikachu gave him a nod indicating he understood most of it. "Pika pikachu pika pi pikachu chu pi" his cheeks started to spark as a sign that he was ready to protect his best friend in a heartbeat

Ash give a bit of a chuckle and scratched the mouse's head before head back down the road.
